Applicants are sought for a flexible Technology Analyst position within the CIB technology organisation. We require an experienced individual, with a proven track record of analysing complex requirement and documenting the functional and non-functional technical requirements of Product Enhancements within the Financial Sector and of managing technical projects.
The successful candidate will own the requirements from inception with the business through to implementation; the individual will be expected to become the Subject Matter Expert for the requirements. The role will be required to work closely with Quality Assurance, Application Development teams, and will require excellent stakeholder management skills. The individual will need to be a self-starter and be able to work with minimal supervision to be able to drive the requirements through the project lifecycle.
Responsibilities include: 
  • Documenting Requirements in the Functional Requirements Document and participating in peers reviews of other documents created by the team
  • Subject Matter Expert for the card authorisation application
  • Communication with key stakeholders, both internal to Technology, with the business sponsors and external partners.
  • Sponsor/raise requirements as part of standard requirement/CR process for items identified as part of reviews
  • Participate in pre scope lock, requirements and design phases of project activities to ensure alignment with standards and provide direction and guidance for changes
  • Approve compliance with or variance from the standards. Included as part of the sign off process for deliverables related to product change
  • Review status and results from testing activities to ensure adherence to standards.
  • Defect triage and prioritisation
  • Managing project activities & reporting
Required Key Skills:  
  • Full knowledge of the Application Development Lifecycle
  • Proven History of assisting to define the technical direction of a major Tier 1 application
  • Analytical / Documenting complex business processes
  • Demonstrate detailed knowledge of Software Development experience
  • Knowledge of architecture and design principles
  • Ability to interpret written requirements and technical specification documents.
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Demonstrate experience with working with external vendors and stakeholders
  • Significant technology experience, working in a complex multi-platform environment.
Desirable skills:
  • Experience of working in a large financial organisation
  • Experience in Application Release Management
  • Knowledge of Card Payments would be advantageous
