Best in class reporting would include informative, accurate, reliable and timely financial information that can be used by management to make sound financial decisions; by analysts to assess the Firm's financial position; investors to make informed decisions and regulators to supervise and examine us appropriately. Our goal is to continuously improve the reporting process through enhancements to the control environment and the operating model. 
 
FIRS External Reporting is the first Global, centralized, scalable and sustainable reporting and analytics Operations in the Finance organization. We focus on Data Integrity, Report preparation for the US Federal Government & Securities Exchange Commission and provide production oversight to measure progress and continuously improve our end product. Responsibilities include:
  • Establish training function within FIRS External Reporting including conducting a needs assessment, development of a multi-year training strategy and execution of the agreed strategy
  • Provide ongoing curriculum and course development
  • Build and maintain a master calendar of training sessions
  • Deliver training to staff across a global location model
  • Partner with Global Finance Training team to make necessary logistical arrangements for training classes including applicable learning@jpmc set up
  • Engage key stakeholders to determine and address ongoing training and development needs
  • Establish reporting on training activity and evaluation of training effectiveness
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
  • Solid facilitation and presentation skills
  • Ability to understand and prioritize client needs and to view them in the broader business perspective
  • Ability to negotiate with, influence and advise clients
  • Ability to build strong partnerships
  • Ability to anticipate future demand and align resources accordingly
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of training methodology
  • Knowledge of learning@jpmc, ConfirmIT or other similar tools preferred

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
  • College degree in adult learning or similar field
  • 5 to 8 years of relevant experience
  • Financial or regulatory reporting background preferred
