The Corporate Location Strategy (CLS) team requires a leader for our core Global Real Estate Data Library (GREDLPro) application and associated functions.  GREDLPro is the system of record for key JPMC property information globally, including space, property, floor plan and real estate allocation detail.  This position plays a critical role supporting not only Global Real Estate, but all lines of business across the firm as they view their real estate occupancy and cost allocation information.  The CLS team is part of our Global Real Estate (GRE) and the CAO Strategic Initiatives (CSI) functions.
 
CAO Strategic Initiatives (CSI) is a dedicated internal consulting group with a mandate to lead critical strategic transformation efforts focused on the Firm’s priorities. The ability to solve critical business problems along with the diversity and backgrounds of individuals distinguish CSI from other areas of the Firm.
 
Global Real Estate (GRE) manages the firm's real estate assets and investments and partners with the lines of business to proactively address their real estate needs.
 
Corporate Location Strategy (CLS) focuses on optimizing our global work-force locations, including consolidating into world-class corporate centers of excellence that enhance our client support, employee satisfaction, and productivity and controls, while optimizing operating costs.
 
Specifically, CLS has the following key responsibilities:
  • Infrastructure – Oversees the production of all seat demand, seat supply, and occupancy data as well as ownership of the underlying central real estate systems
  • Analytics – Delivers and enhances the central analysis and reporting of location and occupancy data to drive location strategy initiatives and occupancy optimization.
  • Strategy – Focuses on advising LOBs, functions and teams across GRE on location strategy “right roles in the right location” principles and initiatives.
  • Process Improvement – Delivers targeted operating model and process improvement support, project management, and internal consulting capabilities across CLS and with our partners.
 
The Supply Inventory Management team within CLS Infrastructure is looking for a Data and System lead for GREDLPro. This role partners closely with CLS Analytics and the CLS Infrastructure team that collects, structures, calculates, and publishes all JPMC workforce, GRE portfolio, and other relevant corporate data needed to deliver GRE portfolio occupancy. This lead also interfaces with other GRE teams to ensure the accuracy of supply data, including property, space, occupancy and allocation updates; functional partners across GRE; and technology to drive process and application enhancements.
 
Role Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Responsible for ensuring accurate system data, including maintaining a controlled, efficient process for new records/revision updates, ensuring consistency in data taxonomy, and adhering to quality control procedures. System elements include, but aren’t limited to: occupancy expense allocations, property square footage measurements, seat counts and associated schema, and availability of forms and documentation within GREDL Pro.
  • Own design, maintenance, delivery, analysis and continuity of daily quality control measures for all data sources through GREDL Pro including data feeds, reporting, and other deliverables.
  • Responsible for scheduling, delivery, and data processing issue resolution of all occupancy expense allocations per established expense methodology guidelines.
  • Complete monthly system reconciliation of general ledger to occupancy data in Occupancy Expense LOB Allocation Report.
  • Act as Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for GRE Finance, Planning and Analysis, Human Resources (HR), Vendor Management Office (VMO) for data flow, reporting, and monthly occupancy expense inquiries.
  • Own documentation of process flows, data governance, policy, and process & procedure, and ensure adherence with regular risk assessments.
  • Interface with Enterprise Technology to propose, design, evaluate downstream impact, manage and prioritize System of Record enhancements.
  • Perform UAT, regression, and off-hours smoke testing of all System of Record technology enhancement implementations.
  • Host or attend regular or ad-hoc meetings with business partners to present issues, impacts, prospective changes or communication.
  • 5-7 years in Operations or Technology leadership roles.
  • Experience with real estate property, occupancy and allocations management and data.
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Access a must; experience with Tableau and Alteryx highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of SAP or similar enterprise systems preferred.
  • Experience in developing documentation, planning, and management for all steps of system version release development.
  • Strong team player and interpersonal skills; demonstrable experience managing cross-functional and in-group relationships.
  • Clear, efficient, personable, and effective communication skills that create trouble-shooting results in time-sensitive situations.
  • Development and maintenance of documentation and controls needed to maintain a well-controlled, auditable environment.
