Job Description:
Chase Mortgage is currently in the process of building a new strategic originations Mortgage Command Center to support its nationwide mortgage business. The center will be staffed with mortgage and data experts, and its primary responsibility will be to help operations increase efficiency while improving overall customer satisfaction. We are currently staffing for a number of key available positions.
 
Vice President – Business Systems Manager – will be responsible for managing a team of experienced mortgage originations analysts. The team will support the command center through the use creation of dashboards, and reporting within Mortgage Banking.  Successful candidates will be hands-on managers who can simplify sometimes complex processes using data visualization.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Synthesize data from a number of different sources to identify meaningful trends and patterns that will help mortgage operations improve the overall customer experience
  • Oversight of design and implementation of Tableau dashboards that provide critical oversight for mortgage operations.
  • Work closely with senior business leaders to understand and satisfy short-term and long-term strategic business needs
  • Build tools and views to monitor the efficiency of our originations processing system (Mortgage Express) and the efficiency of operational employees  - recommend solutions and work with business partners to implement
  • Conceptualize, design, and build meaningful  new views that provide new insights into mortgage operations efficiency and effectiveness
  • Robust analytical skills, especially pertaining to data analysis
  • 2+ years experience of Tableau development
  • Ability to recognize and interpret meaningful trends and make recommendations for improvement
  • Critical and analytical thinking - data-oriented mindset
  • 5-7 years management experience preferred
  • Strong business knowledge in the Mortgage Originations industry
  • Experience with Mortgage Express (MX), a plus
  • Strong technical skills in Excel with knowledge of SQL, SSRS
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, MIS or related field preferred
