The online and mobile channels for CCB currently support more than 32 million active customers; 9 million customers interact with us daily, making Chase the most visited banking portal in the US. Within Consumer and Community Banking, the Digital IT team is responsible for setting and executing strategies that align with business objectives and drive innovation across Chase Online and Mobile, helping to establish the best Digital banking customer experience in the industry.

Due to the success of CCB, it is undertaking a bold digital transformation agenda, investing in innovative ways to deepen customer engagement and profitability through the use of digital channels. The ambition is to position Chase as the undisputed leader in digital financial services and payments and to enable Chase to deliver the highly personalized, real time experiences that customers increasingly expect.

As part of Digital Cyber Security Operations, the Security Specialist will play a crucial role and be the point person to ensure the security of JPMC Digital Channels. You will demonstrate both an ability and willingness to learn and support existing systems, while exhibiting creative thinking and an independent aim to develop something new and important in a multi-team environment. You will enjoy multi-tasking and working with a sense of urgency, and should also be flexible to quick changes in direction while maintaining a strong customer focus.

 

Responsibilities include:

  • Performing identification, analysis, and reporting of cyber security threats within the Chase Digital (web & mobile) channels by monitoring those channels.  Recommending courses of action for changes to application behavior code to ensure proper application / information security standards are met for the Chase Digital Channels.
  •  Liaising with other organizations within JPMC to handle IT compliance/audits/security procedures.
  • Handing a crucial and key responsibility of this role: working with technology vendors to ensure that they accurately perform and apply your recommended security enhancements to the Chase Digital Channels, i.e. integration of new information security tools within and application behavior code revisions to the digital channels. 
  • Handling another crucial and key responsibility of this role: understanding the security implications of certain patterns, socializing, and troubleshooting them with a sense of urgency.
  • 5+ years of experience in information technology with an emphasis on information / cyber security
  • 4+ years of experience deploying, delivering, and supporting secure commercial and custom software solutions with an emphasis on identity and access management, security, integration and support.
  • Strong communications skills
  • Strong knowledge of automated intrusion sets 
  • Knowledge and practical experience with:
    • HTTP protocols, response codes and behaviors associated with security policies
    • Application Security (App Level Firewalls), load balancers and Monitoring tools such as Splunk and/or SEIM
    • Experience with either load balancer (F5, A10, Netscaler) or CDN skills (Akamai, Fastly, InStart, etc
    • The top 10 OWASP security issues as related to Application Delivery over the web
    • Industry Web Service standards such as WS-Sec; SOAP; REST and security protocols around it like OATH & OAUTH.
    • IAM (Identity and Access Management), Federation and other partner access protocols and methods
    • Writing specifications, test plans, and test reports
  • Basic level experience/understanding of:
    • HTML and JavaScript implementation 
    • SQL queries and LDAP
    • Cryptology
  • Ability to assist vendors with and/or be responsible for proper installation, configuration, and integration of cyber security products.
  • Prior experience working on Digital Channel Information Security preferred
