Global Technology Infrastructure (GTI) is the technology infrastructure organization for the firm, delivering a wide range of products and services, and partnering with all lines of business to provide high quality service delivery, exceptional project execution and financially disciplined approaches and processes in the most cost effective manner. The objective of GTI is to balance both business alignment and the centralized delivery of core products and services across then firm. GTI is designed to address the unique infrastructure needs of specific lines of business and the demand to leverage economies of scale across the firm.
The Global Strategy & Core Services (GSCS) organization brings together the architecture, development, solutions architecture and core foundation service groups in GTI and drives several firm-wide technology infrastructure initiatives. These service groups enable JPMC’s to shift to a software-defined, automated, high-scale services organization through driving integrated technology strategy, roadmaps and product development and enhancing alignment between LOB and GTI teams. 
The Quality Engineering COE is part of Application Software Engineering (ASE) function within GSCS drives Agile Product Development for primarily consumer facing portals and leads the Chief Development Office for GTI. QE-COE is accountable for:
  • Quality assurance across End User, Compute, and Service Operations domains
  • Environment Reliability for providing best in class resilient delivery eco system with quality/metrics driven change.
  • Transforming Testing for GTI Flagship Programs, including the overall Testing Strategy, Functional Testing, Test Automation, Test Environment Management .
  • Release, process and tools engineering/reengineering for providing quality software with sustained velocity with the value for business.
GSCS’ Application Software Engineering are hiring an Technical Release Management Led, who will be responsible for establishing and running the environment release management, reporting to the Head of Quality  Engineering COE. The ideal candidate is an experienced in product/project management, with a proven track record of managing a geographically diverse team; as well as proficient in ITIL principle (Change , Problem and Incident Management) with the outlook towards Dev Ops practices .
Key Responsibilities include:
  • Own the Release Management and its practices for GTI flagship programs to ensure that the development to production are of utmost quality and the entire release lifecycle is highly optimized and effective.
  • Build and own the release management capabilities for the GTI flagship programs in the production and non-production environments
  • Drive alignment with the release aspects of the JPMC Global Technology (GT) Accelerate Development Program.
  • Build and own the Release Environment including the code deployments, uptime, hygiene, performance, monitoring and readiness of the environments for uninterrupted testing.
  • Implement and manage a Test Environment Change Control process with strict adherence to entry/exit and other toll gate criteria.
  • Increase uptime/quality by implementing effective problem resolution process and effectively creating knowledge base for quicker resolutions
  • Implement effective Test /Release lifecycle management/orchestration and reporting capabilities.
  • Implement and manage  Release strategy  with adherence to project/product roadmap/implementation plan
  • Build and maintain strong relationships and effective communications between the teams and stakeholders in GTI.
  • Drive consistency and efficiencies in routines and reporting across towers and across programs

  • 10+ years of Delivery experience in Technology, ideally in global financial or related sectors.
  • A strong background in Software Development Lifecycle and experience with agile methodology based project delivery.
  • Demonstrated experience in Release/Delivery Management with execution in complex software environments.
  • Experience in working/building Safe Agile projects/programs.
  • A strong application delivery experience, with a background in complex application environment.
  • Experience of working in large organization with a matrix environment, utilizing virtual teams.
  • Consultative mind-set with an understanding of financials and commercials for running organizations.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with high attention to detail.
  • Excellent communicator at all levels of the organization.
  • Strong negotiating skills, comfortable executing against recommendations & plans by overcoming barriers and resistance.
  • Ability to forge strong relationships and build a wide network throughout the firm.
  • Process and metrics focused.
