Role: JPMIS is seeking talented candidates for a position in our Business Operations team in New York City.  The Business Operations team is responsible for supporting the broader JPMIS business across a number of business operations functions including financials and expense management, funding model lifecycle, vendor engagements / third party oversight, real estate location strategy, communication & business presentations, risk & controls, resource allocation, and defining and optimizing the operating model for the group including enhancing processes and aligning strategic priorities. 
Responsibilities for this role will include:
  • Day to day business operations functions
  • Documenting standard operating processes, process flows, and other operational documents and participating in enhancement to current processes, leveraging technology to automate and streamline these processes
  • Creation and maintenance of dashboards and management reporting
  • Designing appropriate metrics and oversight capabilities for strategic initiatives, including Machine Learning and big data refactoring
  • Deliver on critical risk and control initiatives to drive a seamless business structure
    • An outstanding ability to analyze problems, apply quantitative analytical approaches, communicate effectively and confidently, and work well in cross-functional teams
    • 3+ years’ experience in a Finance, Operations, Technology organization
    • Experience in procedure writing, Visio  and operational oversight functions
    • Technology aptitude, specifically as it relates to automation of operational processes
    • Understanding and interest of key trends within the financial services and technology sector
    • Strong interpersonal and influencing skills and ability to interact with colleagues at all levels and achieve goals without direct control over resources
    • A track record demonstrating a high level of personal initiative, setting and achieving challenging goals, and demonstrating entrepreneurial leadership
    • Excellent and efficient skills using MS Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Share Point tools
