The Client Service Group is responsible for managing and facilitating the daily unique and complex service needs of the Private Bank’s client base. Service is delivered in a team-based model with key locations in the US, Latin America, Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Asia. 
The Client Service Business Analyst will be responsible for supporting all aspects of the global Client Service practice agenda.  Primary areas of focus will include project management, reporting and data analysis, process re-engineering, and change management.  This role will require an ability to deal with complex business challenges, tight deadlines, competing priorities and interaction with the management team.  He, or she, must help develop and implement solutions that strengthen business operating models, enhance the client and advisor experience, and improve efficiency and controls.
Business Analyst will primarily support initiatives in the Party and Account Maintenance workstream and provide project management oversight (PMO).  This includes authentication, authorization, party demographics and coverage related initiatives.     The 2017 funded agenda includes building new internal user interfaces to consume this information, new workflows to create and maintain this information and leveraging this information to improve our external client’s self service capabilities.   From a PMO perspective, the role will help the Client Service Group manage project milestones and resources and support ongoing communication needs.
Key responsibilities include:
  • Support CSG funded project agenda, including requirements, design, testing and implementation
  • Create and maintain detailed project plans to ensure effective and integrated global execution of the agenda
  • Identify weaknesses, gaps, and opportunities for process, organizational, and technology improvements - and report the findings in a simple, compelling way 
  • Recommend improvements across all aspects of operating model - process efficiencies and technology enhancements 
  • Effectively execute approved recommendations with partnership from business, product/platform, risk management, technology, and operational partners 
  • Consistently monitor implemented changes to ensure that new models become ingrained in the culture 
  • Document current and target state process flows by participating in detailed process mapping sessions
  • Provide analysis and assist the business in developing metrics to measure progress against key initiatives 
  • Develop robust communication materials including presentations, status updates, and other reports 
  • Work collaboratively with team members and senior management in the development and implementation of all projects and/or initiatives

  • Flexibility to adjust work schedule (nights, weekends) as required per deliverables - deadlines, testing, etc.


  • 3-5 years of business analyst experience
  • 2 years experience in a client service or mid-office/operations role preferred
  • Bachelors degree or equivalent from an accredited institution
  • Advanced proficiency with MS Office suite, inclusive of Project and Visio
