The Agile Delivery Manager will be a key driver in the organization’s execution and delivery model.  This individual will need to provide a clear vision on business value streams as well as influence the technology paradigm and software development process towards lean agile structure and practices organization-wide.
Main Responsibilities:
  • Partner with demand managers, project managers, resource managers and scrum teams to develop and maintain a lean operating model.
  • Partner with the business management office to ensure teams are optimally staffed to transform and meet demand.
  • Lead the collaborative, dynamic planning process - prioritizing the work that needs to be done against the capacity and capability of the teams.
  • Directly manage a Scrum Master, Product Owner and BA Organization.
  • Establish agile best practices as well as metrics and encourage ongoing continuous improvements with focus on
    • Continued transformation
    • Story Grooming
    • Feature Grooming
    • Software Engineering Techniques
  • Identify and remove obstacles from delivery teams.
  • Raise risk to senior management.
  • Drive teams in the analysis and estimation of future work impacting teams.
  • Coach teams in breaking Features/Stories into well understood and achievable tasks.
  • Mentor team members to progress their technical and professional skills.
  • Encourage and embody transparency in all organization aspects.
  • 15+ years of experience in Technology organizations, including roles of influence.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field or the foreign equivalent.
  • Proven experience creating technical strategy, process, and quality guidelines.
  • Consistent interactions with Senior leadership.
  • Current with Agile development practices, technologies and languages.
  • Must be able to empower teams towards self-organization.
  • Excellent communication skills in English (both written and spoken forms).
