Treasury (T) is responsible for the Funding and Liquidity risk management of the organization worldwide. APAC activity extends over 20 different legal entities and 50+ currencies and markets. The Treasury business has many day to day interactions with LOB's and other corporate groups to provide a clear and detailed understanding of Treasury requirements around liquidity and funding risk on any new initiatives.
Chief Investment Office (CIO) manages the structural Interest Rate and FX Risks of JPM Chase across a wide range of asset classes, with the main hubs being located in London, New York and Hong Kong.
The Trade Support Team is part of the wider TCIO Middle Office that consists of the following teams. The P&L & Risk Team reports daily P&L and Risk management MIS to front office traders and senior TCIO Management and the Middle Office Project Team are responsible for change management impacting the MO.
As a Supervisor of the Trade Support Team dealing in Interest Rates, FX, Money Markets, Financing trades based out of Hong Kong, you will be responsible for managing a number of processes, from liaising with Front Office, liaising with Back Office, ensuring correct trade flow, linking in with technology developments, maintaining, reviewing and driving development of the control environment. In addition they will have responsibility for Benchmark Submission controls across the region, aligning and reporting on the controls globally.
Responsibilities include oversight of operational processes and controls, through the transaction life cycle, as well as daily transaction reporting metrics and weekly/monthly KPI reporting to senior management in all locations across the globe.
Additionally the team contributes to a wider LOB book of work that is driven by regulatory change, liquidity & transaction reporting requirements as well as changes in market practice.
10 years Middle Office/Trade Support experience desired.
Experience working directly supporting a trading desk is ideal.
Cross product knowledge desired (particularly FX and ideally MM, IRS and Bonds).
Attention to detail and numerate with a methodical approach to problem solving
Strong experience within a controls and operational risk management environment.
Able to work under pressure and multi task.
Strong literacy skills.
Able to present to senior management.
Ideal candidates will be well versed in some/all of the following Reuters, LCH, Anvil, Markitwire, and Bloomberg.
Prior Benchmark Submission & Control experience is a plus.
