Wealth Management Operations Summary
Wealth Management Operations supports the JPMorgan Private Bank. The Private Bank is the world’s premier service provider for ultra and high net worth individuals.  Our goal is to help these affluent individuals across the globe optimize their wealth, after taxes and across generations.  Wealth Management Operations provides end-to-end support for all aspects of the client experience, working closely with client service, fiduciary, product specialty groups, third party vendors and other internal groups.

Risk & Control Team (Associate)

The Investment Products Middle Office (IPMO) & JPMS Operations Risk & Control team sits within the business and acts as an independent body to test the controls of the organization, highlight the health of the organization and provide detective and preventative tools for the business to use to mitigate risk. 
The individual will join the WM Operations IPMO Risk & Control team which aims to maintain and continue improving the risk and control environment within WM Operations, providing specific support for Investment Products Middle Office, JPMS Operations and AM Global Portfolio Implementatin (GPI).  Broad responsibilities include managing Control Reviews, supporting RCSA, Vendor Management and User Tool activities, coordinating any compliance testing and  regulatory or audit requests for internal and external partners, reviewing policies and procedures to ensure no control gaps exist.
This individual is expected to manage small-medium scale initiatives that require collaboration with WM Operations teams around the globe. The position requires direct interface across all levels of management and so intermediate-advanced communications competency is required.  Strong time management and organizational skills are essential to success in this role, as well as the ability to identify the need to escalate when appropriate.

  • Ops 99 or equivalent (if none, will need to address this requirement within 90 days of starting the role)


  • Experience in risk management, metrics management, business management or other roles with coordination responsibilities across a diverse set of stakeholders
  • Experience with operations and product support preferred
  • Experience in managing projects preferred
  • Experience in direct interface with Senior Management / Senior Leadership


  • A.S. / B.S. Degree or equivalent work experience
  • Operations Manager Series 99 Certification required or can be obtained within 120 days
