The Corporate & Investment Bank (CIB) Finance and Business Management (F&BM) group provides financial advice to support the CIB’s business strategy and helps to ensure a sound control environment. Within F&BM, the four major areas of responsibility are: Business-aligned BMs (Business Managers), the CIB Controller, Support Staff CFO, and Planning and Analysis.

Finance & Business Management’s goals are to ensure sound control environments and provide financial advice to support the business strategy. Within F&BM, the Controllers organization is responsible for ensuring the overall integrity and validity of the financial statements and controls over the transaction cycle; performing critical reporting functions for the organization, both financial and regulatory, as well as ensuring execution and implementation of the overall financial architecture.

As a member of the Relationship Management Professional (“RMP”) team, your goal will be to assist the Global Investment Banking coverage teams focusing on deal support, by providing consistent, high quality client service. The position will evolve to increased responsibility if warranted.

Position Objective:


Assist the IB industry coverage teams including but not limited to:

  • Act as a liaison with the IB deal team, client and other business partners
  • Responsible for ensuring assigned coverage industry is kept current with all aspects of firm required Know Your Customer “KYC” due diligence, Anti-Money Laundering compliance and Media screening
  • Partner with the Wholesale Client On-boarding “WCOB” and Compliance teams to assess documentation requirements for new client legal entity on-boarding and new business implementation
  • Coordinate with subsidiary bankers and product sales in region to meet local or product specific KYC and AML related inquiries and provide transaction support
  • Promote best practices within the firm
  • Other responsibilities can be assigned
  • Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field
  • Proven ability to build and develop relationships. Strong internal network will be critical to success
  • Highly self-motivated to work independently and on broad based teams that cross Lines of Business
  • Broad corporate finance product knowledge and strong understanding of banking processes
  • Flexibility to handle multiple tasks and changing priorities
  • Ability and drive to take full ownership of processes
  • Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines
  • Strong decision making capabilities and the ability to identify problems and drive to resolution
  • Deliver results in a dependable, timely and accurate manner
