The position is in Banking Product Control group, which covers Global Investment Banking and Treasury Services businesses.
Treasury Services (TS) - the world's largest cash management provider - moves, concentrates and invests client money, and provides trade finance solutions. TS products include payments, collections, trade finance, investments, and information services that help companies manage working capital and liquidity. The business, which operates in more than 40 countries, is the world's largest U.S. dollar clearer, processing an average of $3.2 trillion in fund transfers each day. More than 135,000 corporations, financial institutions, governments and municipalities in over 180 countries and territories entrust their cash business to J.P. Morgan.
Global Investment Banking (GIB) consists of M&A, Capital Markets Origination (ECM, High Grade and Leverage Finance Origination) and Investment Banking Coverage (IBC) which is a non-product aligned business that 'houses' the senior client relationship bankers/executives (CE's) responsible for developing/maintaining a strategic dialogue with JPMorgan's covered clients.
Banking Product Control group produce analytics of Line of Business results by Legal Entity (LOB x LE), calculate cost based Tax Transfer Pricing (TTP), support standardization and automation projects relating to TTP, review LOB compliance of global income attribution standards, Reg W & global Overdraft reporting. The group also leads SAP GL migration project for APAC countries.
  • MBA (Finance), Chartered Accountant or equivalent professional degree
  • 5+ years of overall experience (post qualification) with at least 2 years of experience in Product Control, Legal Entity Control or FP&A
  • Analytical mindset, structured approach with project management/process orientation
  • Hands on multi-tasker, self directed, capable of working independently and as part of the team
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills
  • Advanced MS Excel (data manipulation, macros, v-lookups, pivot tables and Advanced Excel applications) / MS Access/ MS PowerPoint skill sets
  • Knowledge of SAPCO, Advanced Analytics, Qlikview, LExLOB reporting & Cost based attributions will be an added advantage
