The Risk Control Office forms part of the Oversight and Control Group and specifically supports the Risk Management function. A dedicated program, run by the Risk Control Office, has been established to govern and oversee Legal Obligations (OLO) within the Risk Management function. This program forms part of a Firmwide multi-year effort.
The role is within the Firmwide Risk OLO Program management team, who are responsible delivering the Risk specific elements of the program. The Associate level role will support execution of the end-to-end program within Risk Management and will involve working extensively with stakeholders across Risk, as well as Corporate Functions and Lines of Businesses globally. As an integral member of the team you will assist in the delivery of key responsibilities that include:
Key Job Responsibilities:
Supporting execution delivery of daily workflow, including; scoping, planning, obligation assessment, Risk Line of Business / Corporate Risk area assignment, and effective coordination of tracking / status updates
Working closely with Firmwide and Line of Business Risk aligned subject matter experts to assist and provide guidance towards resolution of any open items impacting project goals and timelines
Assisting the Execution Lead in conducting walkthrough presentations and training requirements
Partnering with other stakeholders aligned to the OLO Program including; Legal, Compliance, Finance, Business partners and the various line of business
Subject matter expert on Firmwide & Risk OLO process and tool related topics
Work collaboratively with the Risk OLO Program Management Office to assist with future execution program development and strategic longer term, business as usual, future (non-Program) requirements
Skillset / Experience Requires:
The candidate must be a self-starter who is able to work in a fast paced, results driven environment and capable of communicating and escalating appropriately across a large audience. Additional requirements include:
Process execution experience and leadership in supporting workflow and deadlines
Proven ability in assisting to design and implement process work flow
Experience of Risk Management
Strong organizational skills, including expertise in issue and conflict resolution
Outstanding listening and negotiation skills as well as being a strong written and verbal communicator
Bachelor degree (or equivalent) preferred though not essential
