Job Description:
The Training Program Manager supports the strategic direction of the CAO and Technology Training team by determining the right combination of topics, delivery channels, and suppliers to meet global client needs.  Stays abreast of industry best practices, emerging technologies and LOB/client direction to anticipate and accommodate shifts in the business need and priorities.  Topics will include the latest GT Vision priorities: Software Modernization, Agile, Cloud, Big Data and the associated programs to support learning, such as TAP and JPMC Coding Academy.  
 
Represents CAO and Technology Training on strategic training initiatives involving business and technology. Engages Technology Learning Partners to identify and prioritize technology education needs, determine project parameters, and ensure quality education solutions.
 
Consults with stakeholders in global locations on education requirements to meet business needs. Partners with subject matter experts and suppliers to translate business needs into custom course requirements, ensuring the right training solution is matched to the need, and completes the work as necessary to provide the training solution. 
 
Designs and develops training materials; facilitates training as needed. Arranges program schedules, maintains records of program participation through the learning management system, and prepares reports. Conducts training evaluation to identify program impact, return on investment, and areas of improvement.
 
Primary responsibilities of the incumbent include:
  • Planning & implementing large-scale training initiatives
  • Consulting with stakeholders, performing needs analysis that lead to solutions
  • Understanding of the Global Technology vision
  • Ability to explain technical concepts at a user level, both verbally and via documentation
  • Five or more years experience within a technology environment leading technology initiatives
  • Ability to translate client needs into training requirements. Thinks strategically while managing & implementing tactical details
  • Executes in ambiguous situations; ability to quickly assess and accommodate shifts in the business environment and related needs and priorities
  • Strong interpersonal & communication skills
    • Proven ability to build partnerships/relationships with key stakeholders
