Our Global Service Centers (GSCs) are strategically positioned in Mumbai, Bangalore and Hyderabad to support the firm’s operations regionally and globally. The centers provide comprehensive strategic support across technology and business operations processing to all lines of business and the corporate functions.

Finance reference Data (FRD) creates and manages the common, structure data elements leveraged across JPMC to enable processing, interpretation & reporting of transactions for management & legal purpose.

 

Account and Reference Data employees establish accounts and set up and maintain information in "security master " or reference databases. These employees may interact directly with internal or external clients through telephone, e-mail and regular mail channels. They provide assistance to their clients by answering queries and fulfilling requests.

 

Research and analysis - Monitor and review the major processes and/or those procedures with a high impact in FRD to identify and escalate potential issues. Examples of this include monitoring the BU hierarchy from BD-14 to BD-7 to proactively identify issues that may impact Global Close activities. Create and execute SQL queries to pinpoint workflow issues, data content gaps and potential system processing errors.

Client services - Monitor the day-to-day responses to clients to insure that the team is providing accurate and timely answers. Assist in driving issues to their resolution within the internal three-day SLA response time.

Quality assurance - Liaise with the operations, project and technology teams to insure that activities are integrated without impact to clients and internal stakeholders. Direct and track progress on identified quality control items such as operation model deviations, gaps and enhancements.

Relationship management - In this role you will interact with FRD Operations, project teams, Global Finance Technology, LOBs, and various Corporate Sector groups including Corporate Financial Reporting. The ability to partner with groups across all areas and to lead initiatives is a critical skill.
Problem solving - Ability to take a well-reasoned and creative approach to addressing issues. Effectively listen to issues and assess the underlying client need in order to provide a resolution.

Time management - Effectively manage time including goal setting, planning, prioritizing, scheduling, and monitoring

Basic presentation skills - Able to convey information effectively to a variety of internal and external stakeholders.

Coordination and organization - Create metrics to track progress in resolving Global Close items and to identify success in mitigating Production issues. Clearly direct the activities of staff members to insure progress on tasks.

Qualifications

 

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent
  • 4+ years professional experience
  • Exceptional communications skills (written and verbal) are a must
  • Knowledge of Reference Data is a plus
  • Must be able to effectively prioritize and multi task
  • Effectively interact will all levels of the organization
  • Must have strong issue resolution and planning skills
  • Extensive experience with MS Access, Excel and SQL is preferred
