The Client Service Group (CSG) is responsible for meeting the day to day service needs of the Private Bank’s high net worth and ultra high net worth client base.  Service is delivered through a very high-touch, team-based model with major service locations in the US, EMEA, and Asia.  Client Service Associates are a critical component of the integrated client coverage model including Bankers, Investors, Capital Advisors, and Fiduciary Managers.

Responsibilities:

The Client Service Project Manager will be responsible for supporting all aspects of the global Client Service practice agenda.  Primary areas of focus will include project management, reporting and data analysis, process re-engineering, and change management.  This role will require an ability to deal with complex business challenges, tight deadlines, competing priorities and interaction with the management team.  He, or she, must help develop and implement solutions that strengthen business operating models, enhance the client and advisor experience, and improve efficiency and controls.

Project Manager will primarily support initiatives in the Transformation agenda.  This includes projects around cash processing, security transfers, credit, demographic updates, coverage changes and others.     The 2017 funded agenda includes continuing our new desktop design in Connect, new workflow development and continuation of expanding our self service capabilities.   With our unique centralized service model, we also participate in project work funded outside out of the Client Service Group that impacts our service associates or the external client experience.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Support CSG funded project agenda, including requirements, design, testing and implementation
  • Create and maintain detailed project plans to ensure effective and integrated global execution of the agenda
  • Identify weaknesses, gaps, and opportunities for process, organizational, and technology improvements - and report the findings in a simple, compelling way
  • Recommend improvements across all aspects of operating model - process efficiencies and technology enhancements
  • Effectively execute approved recommendations with partnership from business, product/platform, risk management, technology, and operational partners
  • Consistently monitor implemented changes to ensure that new models become ingrained in the culture
  • Document current and target state process flows by participating in detailed process mapping sessions
  • Provide analysis and assist the business in developing metrics to measure progress against key initiatives
  • Develop robust communication materials including presentations, status updates, and other reports
  • Work collaboratively with team members and senior management in the development and implementation of all projects and/or initiatives

  • Flexibility to adjust work schedule (nights, weekends) as required per deliverables - deadlines, testing, etc.

Experience:

  • 3-5 years of project management experience
  • 2 years experience in a client service or mid-office/operations role preferred
  • Bachelors degree or equivalent from an accredited institution
  • Advanced proficiency with MS Office suite, inclusive of Project and Visio
