The Global Fixed Income, Currency & Commodities (GFICC) team is globally integrated with experienced professionals, working in every major market around the world, utilizing a rigorous research process to scan the markets for investment opportunities.  Global team of fixed income experts specializes in designing custom, dynamic solutions that seek to meet our clients’ specific requirements.  Our strategies span the fixed income spectrum and cater to different risk appetites.


Job Description:

Role responsible for overseeing all aspects of financial reporting, analysis and oversight of the GFICC business.  In depth understanding of investment products and distribution of such products is critical.  Strong communication and relationship building skills are a must as significant interaction is required across multiple functions and disciplines, including AM senior management and GFICC operating committee members.


Responsibilities Include:

  • Oversight, management, training and development of the finance team, as well as leveraging other resources in operations, administration, accounting and other finance groups
  • Develop and maintain financial infrastructure that operates with efficiency and flexibility to respond to rapidly growing and demanding business.  Includes development and ongoing refinement of all internal reporting used by management in running the business
  • Participate in strategic and tactical business decisions, and evaluate financial aspects of major business investments and new business opportunities
  • Creation and tracking of annual financial plan; including detailed involvement in creation of annual sales plan.  Establishment of benchmarks and metrics to measure relative success of plan versus industry.
  • Overall responsibility for expense management including ensuring adherence to corporate expense policies
  • Oversight and responsibility of business MIS directly impacting the finance organization.  Requires in depth understanding of reporting process and relationship between key data providers and underlying systems
  • Review and insight into pricing structure for new separate account mandates
  • Oversight of financial due diligence for all strategic initiatives

  • Substantial relevant financial experience in investment management industry (10+ years) with proven track record of managing reporting and finance functions

  • Project management; ability to manage and organize resources, deliver effective presentations, facilitate meetings and gain consensus around issues

  • Ability to act decisively, form opinions, solve problems and make recommendations

  • Excellent communication skills and ability to cultivate strong relationships
