Corporate Technology (CT) builds and supports the firm's financial infrastructure to ensure Finance professionals have access to the tools and information necessary to drive success.  In partnership with Corporate Finance Operations teams, Global Technology Infrastructure (GTI) and other key support teams, we deliver solutions that meet the requirements of our key clients - the JPMorgan Chase CFO and Corporate Finance Organizations, as well as all line of business CFO teams.
 
In this role, you will be responsible for assisting with strategy and direction for the Operations and Support service offerings that support CT’s current and future state vision.  The scope of the role includes:
  • Global Production Support team focus with a scope that includes business Intelligence, data warehouses, lob sub-ledger data mart systems and core enterprise applications. 
  • Support team adherence to standard ITIL processes for Incident, Problem, and Change management including adherence to key Operate SLAs - Incident and Business
  • Partnership and management of relationships with LOB business partners, Application Development teams, Corporate Finance clients, critical downstream and upstream global technology teams, GTI and other CT teams. 
  • Working closely with multiple CT Project Development teams to understand future project releases, impacts to environment, user functionality and capacity planning for short and long term planning.
  • Identification of opportunities to more efficiently support our portfolio of applications
  • Production readiness reviews for code deployments scheduled for deployment (solid release management skill)
  • Maintenance of forecast, metrics, demand and capacity to support future and existing enhancements
  • Driving core production activities for multiple applications that will improve the overall delivery of operations and support capabilities for our JPMC Business partners

  • Three plus years of experience in support of operational environments that execute on a daily basis (i.e., daily refresh at minimum); with knowledge and / or understanding of ITIL methodology and effective operations governance methods and processes. 
  • 3-5+ years of UNIX experience
  • 3-5+ years SQL experience
  • 1-3+ years of SharePoint
  • 3+ years of supporting applications which utilize Business Objects or Cognos
  • Preferred - Solid understanding in key aspects of constructing, delivering, and supporting business Intelligence, data warehouses, data marts systems, and core enterprise applications.  2+ years of experience with workload automation tools such as Control-M or Autosys.
  • Experience in working with on shore / off shore operations / support Teams
  • 2+ years of experience supporting SAP Business Warehouse applications would be a definite plus.

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to do so at all levels of management
  • Ability to learn quickly, adaptable and can operate under pressure during critical support periods
  • High level of general analytical skills in an IT environment
  • Independent, self starter that works very well with the team
