As the Business Operations Director within CSS, this position leads a global team supporting multiple lines of business across CCB. This Director will lead multiple teams that plan, manage, and execute User Acceptance testing for various functions across CCB Operations. This is a key leadership role with high visibility to ensure that systems changes satisfy business needs and deliver the intended customer and employee experience.
Strategy Development: Partner with senior leaders across CCB to understand LOB operating models and customer requirements necessary to provide and expand business testing strategies to support business objectives
Business Partner Management: Partner with IT, CCB lines of business, CCB Program Management, and Risk/Controls to understand change, requirements and initiatives that will impact customer and employee systems
Leadership: Manage a team of direct report managers with an organization of more than 60 business testing professionals
Communications: Accountable for key messaging and timely communications to Senior CCB Operations Management regarding Business Testing issues, resolution plans and customer impacts
Process Owner: In-depth understanding of specific business processes such as User Acceptance Testing, Test Account Management, and Testing Automation
Project Execution: Lead a team of Managers that drive key technical implementations that support Waterfall and Agile IT project implementations as well as BAU changes
Strong Controls Agenda: Ensure that all employees are proactively contributing towards early identification, monitoring, or reporting process opportunities and /or contributing towards building robust controls that will bulletproof our business
Strategic Agility: Proven experience in seeing through tactical day to day challenges to identify broader strategic challenges and opportunities to drive larger scale improvements
Influence & Change Management: Strong influence and change management skills. The successful candidate will need to affect change in processes and behaviors in clients and cross functional stakeholders.
Technical Skills: Strong understanding of User Acceptance Testing methodology and practices in Waterfall and Agile project delivery models
Relationship Management: Ability to manage expectations and interactions between business and technology organizations
Process Improvement: Strong experience in analyzing and decoding complex and ambiguous operational and system environments, identifying improvement opportunities, driving leadership alignment and execution to an improved end state
Analytical Rigor: Ideal candidate would be an analytical thinker with strong data analysis skills; synthesizing information across multiple platforms, systems, and organizations
Presentation / Communication: Ideal candidate would be able to develop and deliver concise presentations that clearly articulate challenges, actions and results for complex matters - creating clarity and a bias for action with key stakeholders. Ability to communicate and engage with all levels of the organization (executives, managers, internal and external clients.)
Executive Presence: Adept at developing and communicating strategies and tactics to executives. Ability to instill confidence in leadership and attain buy in by clearly articulating strategic approach and underlying supporting project details in appropriate manner. Experience working with the CCB Operations senior leadership team preferred
Team Leadership: Ideal candidate would be an exceptional leader who has experience in leading and developing teams across multiple sites. Demonstrated ability to inspire Managers and develop high performing employees
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience/training. MBA preferred
10-15 years experience, experience leading teams of 50+ preferred
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft office, including Power Point, Excel, Visio, Microsoft Project
