Training Project Manager
Firmwide Oversight and Control (O&C) is designed to ensure a strong and consistent control environment across the organization from front office to back office, across lines of business and corporate functions.  With Control Officers appointed for each Line of Business, Function and Region, there is a comprehensive coverage/accountability model that promotes firmwide dialogue and consistency in approach and solutions.

The O&C Central Team supports Governance, Business Management, Training, the People Agenda, and oversight of firmwide initiatives including New Business Initiative Approvals, Quality Assurance and the Office of Legal Obligations (OLO).  One key area of focus for this position will be providing effective and impactful training and communications support for the OLO program – a firmwide, global initiative that brings together the expertise of Legal, Lines of Business, O&C, Compliance, Risk and other key control functions, to proactively manage regulatory changes into our operations and allow the firm to trace end-to-end connections between laws, rules and regulations and policies, procedures and/or other documentation. Additional support for other O&C related programs and initiatives are also part of the key responsibilities. 
Training & Development - OLO
  • Implement the OLO training plan inclusive of Program and technology related components for a firmwide audience of approximately 4,000 users.
  • Work with Project teams to determine appropriate training vehicles (e.g. elearning, instructor-led, recorded replay) to support the build out of new content
  • Design, build, and execute training courses specific to OLO/ELA Roles and responsibilities
    • Work with partners in the program to develop the content and review
    • Assess and refresh training to address policy and regulatory developments and emerging issues; as well as update to include technology and program changes
  • Provide Training Central Administrative support, including posting courses and tracking training metrics
  • Support LOB/CF teams in promoting training to appropriate firmwide audiences  
  • Initiative new job aids/user guides to promote further understanding of important program-related topics or areas of interest with an eye on consistency across the program
Intranet website
  • Support the continual update of content on the OLO program and other O&C Program-related pages
  • Introduce new content/design as needed to promote key content
  • Manage/update online SharePoint FAQ databases for key programs
Mandatory Training Support
    • Work with firmwide groups (Compliance, Risk, Corporate Sector) to determine the appropriate Corporate O&C audience for mandatory training courses
    • Follow-up with O&C staff on in-flight training to ensure 100% completion

  • 5 - 7 years of professional related experience
  • Ability to design training materials, with solid writing style/approach and ability to produce material quickly under tight deadlines
  • Must have the ability to quickly understand complex and technology-related system enhancements and translate that into easy to understand language, and clear and concise presentations for end user consumption
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.  Must possess relationship-building skill in order to work with diverse subject matter experts and internal clients
  • Ability to create new and unique ideas and an entrepreneurial spirit a plus
  • Creativity a must, willing to share new ideas and not go with the status quo; some graphic design experience a plus
  • Ability to analyze data from survey results and taken action as needed
  • Experience in project management, with skills necessary to interpret what is needed for the success of a project and to create appropriate schedules for timely delivery
  • Flexibility in competently juggling competing priorities and changing expectations
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • Willingness to ask questions rather than just follow directions is required
  • A solid command of grammar, style and editing
  • Must be a team player, prepared to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Must be able to produce critical communications on demand
  • Must be technically proficient in order to work with online posting tools (webpage maintenance)
  • Must have superior PowerPoint, Word and Excel skills
  • Bachelor's degree in related field (training, communications or other writing/training discipline) preferred
