The person in this role will be responsible for supporting the delivery of marketing programmes across channels for many of these products and clients - including a number of global initiatives. There will be a strong digital focus as part of an integrated campaign led marketing strategy.
 
The person in this role will report into the Global Executive Director - Investor Services Marketing, based in London.
 
 
Role Summary:
 
The role involves supporting delivery of a full marketing plan to promote the firm’s Investor Services offering. The role spans positioning, messaging, collateral, advertising, digital marketing, direct mail, connecting with client events and research. In doing this, the role holder needs to work closely with members of the CIB Marketing team and develop strong working partnerships across other regions and all major product areas including Custody & Fund Services, Prime Finance, Collateral Management and segment coverage including Asset Managers, Asset Owners and Hedge Funds and Alternatives, Insurance firms, Banks & Broker Dealers,


 

Main Responsibilities:
  • Support planning and execution of marketing to ensure effective and efficient delivery
  • Client and marketplace research, including regular competitive analysis, to support the development of marketing plans
  • Creative development and production management with agencies and internal partners to ensure projects are delivered on time and on budget
  • Write, edit and contribute to the design of programs, including, but not limited to:
  • Direct marketing campaigns
  • Digital channels including online advertising and social media
  • Print advertising and advertising copy development

  • Global and regional sales tools (e.g. talking points, brochures, fact sheets)
  • Measurement of activity impact and effectiveness, including preparing presentations of findings
  • Work with Legal and Compliance to ensure relevant approvals are in place for all activity
  • Work with extended global team of colleagues within CIB and other areas of the firm to ensure effective co-ordination of sector, local, regional and global activity
  • Knowledge of implementing brand guidelines and able to clearly communicate requirements in a practical manner
  • Other projects and activity as business needs dictate.
Qualifications:
  • Proven track record in one to two marketing roles, ideally in large, complex organizations and covering multiple regions
  • Experience working in a corporate and investment bank and familiarity with Investor Services products and institutional investors, in particular, is highly preferred
  • Proven organizational skills under pressure
  • The ability to manage multiple and varied projects concurrently and end-to-end
  • Effectively identifies and implements solutions to reduce complexity in marketing activity
  • Excellent written communication skills, including copywriting, editing and proofing
  • Superb oral communication skills, telephone communication and influencing skills
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Positive and professional team player
  • Strong project and campaign management background.
  • Experience in event planning is preferred, but not essential
  • The ability to collaborate and establish credibility with communications and business colleagues globally, actively engaging with marketing/product management and business contacts across the firm to execute marketing plans
  • Self-starter, professional, focused and reliable.
