CIB Investor Services - Marketing Manager – Vice President – London

The successful candidate will be responsible for helping to grow the business via developing a global marketing strategy. The individual will also be responsible for leading marketing activity in support of J.P. Morgan’s Investor Services businesses. The successful candidate will report into the Executive Director - Investor Services Marketing, based in London.
 
 
Role Summary:
 
The role supports the delivery of a marketing plan to further promote the firm’s Investor Services offering The main focus of the role is on developing marketing materials and campaigns of various types, e.g., direct mail, advertising. The position will also entail work on positioning, messaging, digital marketing, thought leadership, research and internal communications. In doing this, the role holder needs to work closely with CIB Marketing & Communications and Strategic Events team members and develop strong working partnerships across all regions.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Primary liaison with various product teams to plan and develop marketing initiatives
  • Develop and executing a marketing strategy.
  • Engage in relevant competitor analysis and market research activities to create thoughtful content and programs
  • Support the definition and delivery of client-facing marketing materials (e.g., videos, case studies, campaign materials, web copy, brochures)
  • Develop content ideas and copy or scripts. Working closely with Sales to target materials to address segment-specific needs
  • Support the production and dissemination of thought leadership (i.e., working with design and print partners, planning internal briefings, managing distribution, developing talking points and presentations on a theme, etc.)
  • Create multi-dimensional campaigns in collaboration with Product and Sales
  • Support industry event sponsorships (e.g., advertisement production, company profiles)
  • Identify and support marketing opportunities.
  • Partner with business stakeholders across regions to help ensure local marketing priorities are addressed.
  • Provide marketing input into regulatory or change communications, as needed
  • Ensure internal awareness of marketing activity to maximize impact
  • Work with an extended team of colleagues in the CIB and across the firm to ensure effective coordination of sector, local, regional and global activity
  • Coordinate with other areas of the CIB, e.g., Markets, to leverage marketing opportunities.
  • Work J.P. Morgan Markets related marketing materials to showcase the full range of Investor Services capabilities
  • Partner with agencies and internal partners to ensure projects are delivered on time and on budget
  • Measure of activity impact and present findings to senior management
  • Work with Legal and Compliance to ensure all approvals are in place.
Qualifications:
  • Strong knowledge of financial services, including understanding of Investor Services products and institutional investor clients required
  • Excellent written communication skills, including copywriting, editing and proofing
  • Proven track record in two to three marketing roles, ideally in complex, global organizations
  • Superb oral communication, telephone communication and persuasion skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure
  • Strong project management experience, including the ability to manage multiple and varied assignments concurrently under tight time frames
  • Experience in planning and executing marketing campaigns and promoting thought leadership content
  • Strong analytical skills
  • The ability to collaborate with marketing, media relations and internal communications and business colleagues globally, maintaining a network of contacts across the firm
  • Self-starter, professional, focused and reliable.
