Job Description:
This role will be responsible for supporting & driving initiatives tied to the Risk Roadmap initiatives from a subject matter knowledge & leadership perspective  with a focus on best practices, decision engine systems processing/monitoring, testing & implementation methodologies ensuring that processes are operating in a highly controlled manner and meets requirement expectations and JPM Chase standards.
  • Identify and help drive long term/strategic efforts forward from the business side in partnership with IT.
  • Lead and assist the gathering of requirements in partnership with key stakeholders
  • Must possess a willingness to learn, the ability to effectively communicate findings verbally & in written/presentation format and be able to work in a matrix structure with minimal supervision.
  • Communicate complex issues in a crisp and concise fashion to multiple levels of management.
  • Partner with stakeholders to ensure that all reporting is developed, tested, and maintained in accordance with established corporate and team standards
  • Partner with teams to develop/enhance the appropriate operating model that meets the business need with proper controls.
  • Proactively assess current practices and procedures & implements best practice preventative processes; escalates when potential process failures or weaknesses occur.
  • Work with business functional area counterparts to develop interactive dashboards and management reporting
  • Provide thought leadership and identifies and implements opportunities to improve efficiency by reviewing work processes from new perspectives.
  • 8+ years of U.S. consumer lending and /or retail bank experience
  • Managerial experience in leading small team
  • Master’s degree in business management, finance or accounting.
  • Experience working with SAS, SQL and/or other Oracle and/or Teradata database tools
  • Proven analytical and writing skills, including ability to evaluate impacts and translate findings and
  • Strong verbal and written communication in English – have the ability to present information confidently in a crisp and easily understandable way
  • Proactive communication and ability to engage seamlessly to bridge time zones
  • Ability to develop, recommend, and implement financial risk strategies based on well researched facts and analytics
  • Strong customer communication skills.  Strong ability to effectively manage positive relationships with customers, relationship managers, and sales staffs 
  • Exhibited leadership and desire to oversee the development of credit analysts in the team
  • Project Management skills ability to work within time constraints in a highly regulated industry
