Team Overview
This position is an Associate level Program Management role supporting the APAC Human Resources, Learning and Development team reporting to the Asia Pacific Head of Talent and Development. This is a key role in the APAC L&D team, which requires the incumbent to be a trusted internal advisor to the regional L&D business partners and L&D operations team. The successful applicant will be an energetic individual capable of multi-tasking and analytically reviewing processes and reports. Strong relationship management skills, communication and presentation skills are essential. Prior knowledge of HR consultancy and experience in the Asia Pacific region is an advantage.
 
Job Description
Strategic and Financial Management:
  • Provide proactive tactical and strategic support to the APAC Head of Talent and Development
  • Partner with key stakeholders to deliver the annual budget and regular forecasts
  • Review monthly expense management and headcount report and escalate as required
  • Track and produce management reports on L&D expenses and metrics
  • Provide planning support to management meetings, offsites and business reviews
  • Produce strategic and financial presentations for management meetings and business reviews
  • Provide regular updates and analysis to L&D management about key L&D metrics
  • Operate across the L&D team as a trusted partner, driving and delivering support and advice
Training Support and Project Management:
  • Provide regular updates to management on the status of the L&D projects and initiatives
  • Review and suggest enhancements with regard to L&D processes e.g. New program request
  • Ensure accurate tracking of all assigned projects
Vendor Management:
  • Partner closely with Legal, Sourcing, TPMO groups on vendor management process
  • Review all commercial clauses within L&D legal contracts
  • Provide contract negotiation support as required
  • Ensure the L&D operations team and L&D business partners are aware and follow the vendor management processes
Risk Agenda:
  • Partner closely with HR O&C team on the identification of business risks, development/execution of control strategy, internal/external audits and compliance testing
  • Be a point of contact for potential risk breaches within L&D team and escalate as needed

 

  • Fluency in English
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong project management and organizational skills
  • Comfortable facing off to senior management and Business Heads
  • Strong analytical, planning and problem solving skills
  • Very high proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
  • Proactive, diligent and strong work ethic
  • Must be able to build trusted relationships and work well as a team
  • Work experience in a Business Management, Project Management and/or L&D role
