Job Description:

The Firmwide Intraday Liquidity Program is one of the top initiatives both across the firm and within CIB Technology.  The dashboard was launched in mid-2015 and we have used Agile to iterate quickly and deliver additional functionality.  So far, the technology solution provides stakeholders a real time view of the firm's liquidity intraday, calculates the firm's intraday positions, generates and sends alerts when specified indicators and limits are breached, and has a repository of data for management and regulatory reporting.  The technology team is now upwards of 70 developers across 4 locations and is working on, amongst other things, a cash projection tool to measure and predict liquidity needs, reporting for management information and regulatory submissions, and incorporation of credit utilization.
 
A business/data analyst is being sought to play a critical role on the team for the build out of data acquisition from upstream product applications and the aggregation and reporting of liquidity metrics within the Intraday Liquidity (IDL) organization.  This role will be responsible for leading systems analysis and will contribute to project documentation, including requirements, data mapping, and quality assurance project deliverables.  This role will work closely with internal business partners on all project phases and will need to understand the integration and data dependencies between multiple platforms. 
 
  •  Experience  in performing business data analysis including transactional and reference data (accounts, Legal Entity, Currency, Clients, etc)
  • Creation of physical and logical models including data navigation skills
  • Research and create documentation on data dependencies and integration points between target platforms.
  • Technical specifications development using traceability matrix, data dictionaries and user stories.
  • Assisting with the designing and development of upfront test cases using JIRA.
  • Demonstrated problem solving skills and ability to develop solutions to complex analytical/data-driven problems
  • Knowledge of SQL basics.
  • Working with relational data models
  • Excellent Business analysis/Functional analysis skills.
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal, including ability to communicate across all levels
  • Ability to manage own day to day workload, and ensure delivery to required deadlines
  • Risk, issue, and dependency management skills, inclusive of proactive mitigation strategies 
Desirable:
  • Knowledge of Oracle database
  • Knowledge of PL/SQL
  • Exposure to Qlik View, Magic Draw and Java
  • Exposure to Equites, Fixed Income, Broker/Dealer settlement and Banking Payment processing, swift messaging for example.
  • A flexible approach to hot desking in London once every 2 weeks.
