Finance and Risk Operations is a global team within the Firm wide Finance and Risk CFO Organization, monitoring the timeliness, accuracy and completeness of data used for Credit and Liquidity risk management and reporting.  The team designs, implements and operates controls to manage the data flow, and identifies data quality issues for remediation.  Finance and Risk Operations works closely with various internal partners within all lines of business, as well as other group functions including Risk Reporting, Risk Policy, Regulatory Risk, Risk Middle Office, Business Middle Offices, Control & Oversight and the Firm wide Data Quality Team.

Job Description
The Finance and Risk Operations team is seeking a strong Associate professional candidate for the credit/liquidity risk operations team. This individual will support the integrated operating model across Credit and Liquidity, including but not limited to financial reconciliations, data quality research and interacting with various Lines of Business, Technology and Project teams. The candidate must be attentive to detail and manage multiple, simultaneous tasks successfully.
Job Responsibilities:
  • Support daily and monthly operational processes for data quality remediation, reconciliations, adjustments, and LoB inquiries
  • Own and review data quality exceptions for Liquidity Risk and Wholesale Credit reporting. Work with lines of business and stakeholders to resolve assigned data quality exceptions.
  • Analyzes and identifies breaches in product reconciliations and work with lines of business / technology to resolve or define remediation plan.
  • Partner very closely with LoBs and consumers to obtain adjustments to address any data quality issues to meet downstream reporting needs.
  • Partner with regional leadership team to identify and solve resource gaps, highlight and resolve barriers
  • Collaborate with other team members and peers to drive resolution of data quality and systemic issues across all feed supplies.
  • The roles provides exposure to all LoBs throughout the Bank, various business related processes, and the chance to demonstrate analytical and strategic thinking skills.
  • Provide expertise on projects for processes related to Wholesale Credit and Liquidity Risk Management. Support production implementation activities when required.

Qualifications / Skills required


Bachelor's / MBA degree, preferably in Accounting or Finance with 10+ experience in the financial services operations capacity.  

  • Excellent written and verbal communications, clearly communicate complex topics at all organizational levels.
  • Problem solving and decision-making skills.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in MS Office products, i.e., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Visio
  • Ability to multi-task, work well under pressure and commitment to deliver under tight deadlines
  • Strong leadership and time management skills.
  • Strong team player able to work with all levels of employees.
  • Self – motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Collaborative working style
  • Familiarity with Derivatives, Cash Securities and or Traditional Credit Products or trading/settlement applications desirable but not required.
