Overview: The Trust & Estates New Business Team works in conjunction with Trusts & Estates Management, Trust Officers, Wealth Advisors, New Business Review Officers, Investment Team Leaders, Asset Class Leaders, and the Trust & Estates Practice to manage the T&E new business process, including oversight of incoming assets, pipeline management and internal/external marketing
 
Job Description: The New Business Associate will be responsible for working with the U.S. Trusts and Estates New Business Lead in managing the U.S. Trusts and Estates business growth agenda while also ensuring that our process and procedures align with the Private Bank’s objectives.
 
Role and Responsibilities:
  • Prepare materials in support of the Trusts & Estates Practice’s value proposition and present to internal and external audiences
  • Support US Trusts & Estates New Business Lead in managing the new business acceptance process and tracking function
  • Generate and track new business pipeline reporting, analyze and identify best practices to facilitate growth of the business
  • Partner closely with applicable product, risk, operations and control functions to develop asset acceptance plans and coordinate with Bankers, Trust Officers, Wealth Advisors and Investors
  • Review all non-standard and financial incoming new assets related to new business
  • Summarize assessments from all product areas and develop procedures to further streamline new business acceptance
  • Flag any items that should be brought to applicable committees for resolution
  • Coordinate resolution of any exceptions that arise once assets are received by the firm and are reviewed by the asset collection team
