The Project Manager will support an AM chief data office strategic initiative within the Securities & Pricing Data Domain which includes in its scope instrument party data (issuer, counterparty, and issuer related data). Issuer and counterparty data is critical to traded and held assets. This data is critical for credit research Analysis, investment risk and portfolio construction, client guideline management, client reporting and corporate reporting mandates. The incumbent will lead  project management support of the second phase of the Issuer & Counterparty strategic program; the new phase consists of end to end issuer and counterparty hierarchy remediation, build and deployment of new functionalities in PandA (AM Party Source of Record) to support the integration and management of new content from the Firmwide sources of records (GIM/iParty and Client Central) as well AM specific requirements including credit role mapping for issuer and settlement/delivery instructions for counterparty data; the Project Manager will also collaborate with the EDPI team to deploy the enhanced data set and the onboarding of a number of key business applications. 
Key Roles and Responsibilities
  • Manage tasks and schedules associated with the hierarchy remediation project; this effort includes definition and management of milestones, coordinate delivery teams, particularly DMO, CRDU and GMC as well, maintaining required level of reporting for the SteerCo and CDO management
  • Manage the remediation of client restricted lists as well as the deployment of a new operating model and standards consistent with the improved architecture and the integration of FW sources
  • The coordinate the development work of  enhancements of the AM Party platform, specific tasks include documentation of requirements, coordination of WG with the aligned tech and data operations management teams and project reporting
  • Coordinate the work related to the publication of the new content onto EDPI, insure compliance to governance requirements in relation to LDM and Databook
  • Coordination of the onboarding activities of key business applications including InfoHub/PRISM/Sentinel, Newton, AFS/ICES/MICES, ThinkFolio and CMS
Key Relationships
  • AWM relations – Chef Data Officer, Domain leads, Domain Data Stewards, AM Governance team, Aligned Technology Teams, Aligned Information Architect team, Aligned Data Operations, AWM Middle offices, AM GMC, Counterparty Risk Group, InfoHub/Prism tech, Sentinel Tech, Cortex/AFS tech, ThinkFolio tech.
  • FW relations - FW Instrument Operations, Client Reference Data Utility Operations, FW Reference CDO, External Party Data Domain lead, CIB and CB CDO
  • External relations – Market Data Vendors (e.g. Bloomberg, TR, S&P, etc.), Related Industry groups
  • Minimum of 6-years of experience in a major financial services organization, with significant data project management, data business analysis
  • Domain knowledge of Enterprise Data Management and Securities Master and party/issuer Data
  • Experience in data governance practices, business and technology issues related to management of enterprise data and models related to data quality, governance and standards
  • SME Level knowledge in certain asset classes including Fixed Income, Munis, equities, structured products
  • Understanding of the financial services industry and businesses
  • Exposure to Asset Management/buy-side of the industry is a plus.
  • Bachelor degree is required; Masters/MBA/MIS is a plus.
