Job Description:
This is an exciting opportunity for a senior marketing professional to work in wealth management on broad array of acquisition and client engagement marketing. This includes data-driven marketing strategy development, content creation and design, digital product innovation as well as campaign analysis and reporting.  Specifically, this key member of the J.P. Morgan Private Bank Marketing Team will manage marketing for the Private Bank’s lending and mortgage businesses.
The ideal candidate for this position will work closely with members of the leadership team, including select members of the Wealth Management Operating Committee.  This professional will build dynamic relationships with senior executives of the mortgage and lending businesses, their product and business managers as well as client-facing advisor teams in order to understand their strategic priorities and develop effective marketing initiatives and the collateral to support them.  The ideal candidate thrives in an entrepreneurial environment and will think creatively to build and execute marketing campaigns across many channels (direct-to-client, internal to advisors, digital) and will be charged with overall project management, ensuring strong and effective collaboration and coordination across many partners.
The Senior Marketing Strategist will lead the following types of acquisition and engagement projects:
Create compelling tools and materials to support advisors in bringing in new lending and mortgage business and growing their existing books of business:
  • Develop a comprehensive marketing plan to help increase penetration of our lending and mortgage solutions  
  • Drive innovation, especially with new digital products and offers
  • Coordinate marketing activities globally
  • Work closely with product and sales team to execute and measure results
  • Develop digital-based campaigns to test new initiatives that drive prospect leads into JPM (i.e. google search, banner testing).  Track results and refine efforts for future initiatives.
Focus on developing timely and impactful campaigns to help advisors spark conversations with clients:
  • Campaigns can include: gathering and synthesizing data to generate new and creative ideas, developing a suite of materials for all advisors to use on their own, constructing targeted outreach to centrally deploy direct-to-client campaigns
  • Work closely with analytics and sales teams to define key performance indicators, build test and control, track and report results, optimize for future
Innovatively launch new lending products, drive client experience enhancements and leverage cross-LOB opportunities
  • Lead the multi-year, go-to-market strategy for new lending product(s)
  • Understand the client journey and play a key role in shaping and marketing enhancements
  • Find ways to coordinate best practices and campaign ideas across JPM
  • Degree in Marketing, Communications or other related business discipline.
  • Minimum of 7 years of marketing experience at a wealth management firm, preferably targeting high net worth clients.
  • Experience in direct and digital marketing, preferably with lending and mortgage products  
  • Strong writing and editing skills.  Ability to translate client needs and product benefits into effective marketing content.
  • Experience providing effective direction to writers and designers. 
  • Consultative marketing approach and the ability to interact and communicate effectively with all levels of the organization. 
  • Excellent project management, problem-solving and time management skills.  Ability to work in a fast paced environment and handle multiple priorities and projects at one time.  
  • Willingness to be involved in all aspects of developing and implementing marketing programs.
