Commercial Banking (CB) has a long history of providing comprehensive solutions, including Lending and Treasury Services, to Corporations, Municipalities, Financial Institutions, and Not for Profit entities with annual revenues generally ranging from $20 million to $2 billion, as well as real estate investors and owners.

Wholesale Lending Services (WLS) exists within Commercial Banking and provides loan servicing functions all four of JPMorgan lines of business.  These functions include Loan Documentation, Closing and Funding, Payment and Fee Processing, Syndication Loan and Trade Processing, Credit Administration, and Collateral Perfection & Management.

 

This role as with most roles within Commercial Banking will require alignment to the US workday as well as having a high attention to detail, excellent analytical & communication skills and a broad understanding of the loan life cycle.

 
Key responsibilities:
  • Prepares, reviews and processes complex documentation               
  • Posts transactions to customer accounts                                             
  • Prepares documentation for storage, retention, rendering and destruction
  • Interprets legal documentation or regulatory requirements
  • Reviews and posts exception transactions                                              
  • Follows up on deficient documentation                                          
  • Makes decisions regarding the documentation handled                           
  • Handles complex documentation under little supervision                        
  • Serves as a subject matter expert
  • Completes document indexing
  • Handles escalated inquiries
  • Follows up on deficient documentation    
  • Produces daily reports
Experience:
 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Commerce/Accounting preferred.
  • Experience preferably in Banking/Mortgage/Financial Analysis/Statement Spreading/Loan Operations
  • Candidate should be open to work in shifts.
  • Strong verbal & written communication to effectively communicate with various stake-holders and across levels.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to work effectively in team environment
  • Attention to detail and problem solving skills     
  • MS Office skills
