Job Description:

In support of the Buenos Aires Tech Hub Leader and the management team, the Technology Hub Coordinator will lead and coordinate cross lines of business efforts in the local market, with a focus on strengthening business resiliency, continuity and talent development. In addition, this role will pursue opportunities to develop an innovative technology environment to help attract, develop and retain technology talent. The role includes development and implementation of key practices as it relates to recruitment, training and development, employee engagement and community practices.  The role will also develop and implement a strong communications strategy that supports the Buenos Aires Technology Operating Council’s objectives.  

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Supports the Tech Hub lead in all things related to managing the Hub – from real-estate to hub wide events to coordinating various activities related to the Buenos Aires Hub

  • Help facilitate the Buenos Aires Technology Operation Committee meetings and track actions

  • Deploy effective channels and practices to facilitate great communication and a collaborative technology environment   

  • Coordinates the overall tracking of the program and metrics (e.g., headcount, open reqs, talent reassignment, mobility, expenses, real estate supply and demand)

  • Coordinates and helps with running Global Technology Town halls, Fireside Chats and other events

  • Coordinates logistics and content for events that promote career development and networking

  • In partnership with HR, coordinate the consolidation and execution of a cross line of business recruiting efforts and training and development   

  • Works closely with work stream leads and supports them with their work streams

  • Interfaces with other global Tech Hub coordinators to adopt and leverage best practices, ideas, network etc.

  • Monitors and executes on action plans to improve quarterly Hub metrics

  • 5-7 years’ experience in a project management, communications, marketing or related role.
  • 1-3 years of experience in Event Planning is highly preferred
  • Very good written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated success developing messages, providing communications counsel to senior management teams, and executing communications plans.
  • Organized project manager and multi-tasker, comfortable in a deadline-driven, fast-paced. environment.  
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines. 
  • Must be organized and detail-oriented.
  • Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work on teams, across lines of business and with all levels of the organization.
  • Consultative approach with the ability to interact, influence and communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.
  • Demonstrate exceptional professionalism and the ability to independently manage multiple priorities and deliver strong results within tight timeframes.
  • Must be able to demonstrate speed and adaptability, especially with writing and editing on the fly.
  • Must be able to get up to speed quickly on the business and its priorities.
  • Experience with SharePoint, Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint applications.
  • BA/BS degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism or related degree is preferred.
