JPMorgan Chase & Co.’s Corporate Sector Finance group provides financial management and reporting support for Global Real Estate, Enterprise Technology, Compliance, Legal, Corporate Finance, Human Resources, Risk Management, Audit, Executive and other staff areas.

 

The Global Real Estate (GRE) Finance team sits within Corporate Sector Finance. It is comprised of finance professionals across the globe who are accountable for managing both the expense & capital components of the GRE function, ensuring a sound control environment, measuring performance, providing value-adding analyses, and presenting information and ideas to senior management within Global Real Estate, to the major lines of business, and to the various Firm-wide finance teams who roll up the results of the entire Corporation. The team covers all aspects of the Firm’s real estate portfolio including, but not limited to, space management, property management, lease administration, design & construction, and sustainability projects.

 

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Develop positive working relationships with functional partners across Global Real Estate to foster a collaborative environment with the goal of becoming a trusted advisor
  • Support the broader GRE Finance team by fielding requests for various strategic analysis projects, including summaries of proposed capital projects, scenario modeling, and project schedule forecasting
  • Analyze and report on key financial metrics relating to Americas Real Estate performance vs budget targets and ongoing investments in strategic hubs and critical programs
  • Develop dynamic relationships with Corporate P&A, Corporate Location Strategy, and LOB finance groups to incorporate changes and updates to financial forecasts
  • Support the end to end Americas real estate allocations process to respective lines of business
  • Develop and lead automation initiatives for allocations processes

  • Bachelor's degree in business related discipline – accounting or finance preferred
  • Excellent working knowledge of Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Prior experience or innate interest in the Real Estate asset class
  • Ability to think outside of the box, identify problems & find cost efficient solutions
  • Ability to analyze data and process information
  • Ability to turn data analysis into sophisticated presentations
  • Organizational skills – Ability to handle numerous deliverables simultaneously, many with critical deadlines. Candidate must be comfortable with frequently changing priorities, and must maintain composure in a fast-paced environment and prioritize projects accordingly
  • Communication skills - Ability to communicate succinctly and efficiently, comfortable interacting with senior management and Corporate leaders
