Job Description:
As a Business Manger working in this position, you will lead and manage projects and programs in the Branch Platforms innovation space.  The ideal candidate must have proven track record of successfully leading cross organizational efforts that also include external vendors.  This position is intended to provide the occupant with an opportunity to be exposed to a broad variety of JPMorgan Chase's new innovation capabilities and to deliver a new set of banker applications.  
 
In this position, the candidate will be responsible for:
  • Analyze issues and opportunities to determine the strategic direction including process flows, storyboards, product roadmaps and business cases to support.
  • Preparation and presentation of materials to Senior Management in support of the initiatives. 
  • Coordinating and leading business initiatives across organizations to deliver projects on time and with quality, especially with competing projects vying for the same resources
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously.          
  • Recognizing project issues and risks thereby engaging proper resources to determine a mitigation plan or strategy in order to move the project forward.
  • Involves identifying issues that warrant Senior Management syndication/approval and facilitating communications with the Senior Management team about those issues.
  • Assessing program health and reporting status on a periodic basis.
REQUIREMENTS: 5-12 years project and program management involving complex business, operations and technology delivery, plus:
  • Knowledge of and experience with delivering consumer business functions through electronic delivery channels
  • Strong knowledge of business operations and their interdependencies with technology based solutions
  • Experience with delivering complex projects/programs
  • Experience with anticipating Senior Management concerns, proactively preparing the necessary communications and delivering those communications in a manner that facilitates consensus and decision making
  • Strong business acumen and relationship management skills
  • Prior experience working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
  • Strong analytical skills, leadership skills, communication skills, writing skills, and solid experience in writing business requirements
  • Self-starter, motivated and independent worker
  • Strong knowledge with Microsoft Office products such as Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint
