Business Overview
As part of the EMEA Fixed Income Middle Office, the Regulatory Reporting team is responsible for creating, validating and submitting reports to regulators, treasuries and agencies in order to meet the regulatory obligations of the business.
 
JPMorgan's Investment Bank provides market leading worldwide public underwriting and secondary market activities for Cash & Financing Security Products through its Credit, Rates and Global Emerging Markets businesses, primarily selling to Asset Managers, Hedge Funds, Insurance Companies and Banks.
 
The range of Credit and Rates products includes; Government and Agency Bonds, Corporate Bonds, Mortgage and Asset Backed Securities, Commercial Paper and Certificates of Deposit. 
 
Team Description
The Fixed Income Regulatory Reporting Team in Bournemouth is responsible for production, control and oversight of trade reporting, transaction reporting, liquidity reporting, Volcker reporting,  turnover reporting, pre-auction reporting and Reg W reporting for our UK trading entities in the range of products listed above.

 

 

 

Key Responsibilities
    • Supporting daily BAU reporting processes for Bank of Italy Primary Market Reporting, Markets in Financial Instruments Regulation (MiFID II), PRA Liquidity Reporting and Securities Financing Transaction Reporting (SFTR).
    • Maintaining controls processes and Management Information (MIS) across our suite of reports.
    • Support and analysis for SFTR and other new regulatory  developments.
    • To assist in writing and validating procedures in relation to new reports and processes to ensure Compliance and Audit are comfortable with our controls environment.
    • To provide feedback in relation to timeliness, accuracy and completeness of our reporting flows to members of Global Regulatory Risk & Control, Middle Office, Compliance, Audit and Legal.

 

The successful applicant with have:
  • A high level of numeracy
  • Some knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Access and VBA
  • A working knowledge of Fixed Income regulation is desirable but not essential
  • The ability to partner with a wide variety of diverse groups
  • A flexible, organised, proactive attitude towards work with the ability to multi-task and prioritize workload
  • Good communication skills in all media.
  • The ability to work well under pressure
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • High attention to detail
  • Preferred: experience or exposure to  one or more of FCA Transaction reporting, PRA Liquidity reporting, LSE/FSMA/Irish Stock Exchange Trade reporting, HRF/Turnover reporting and/or Reg W trade monitoring
