As a Scrum Master, the candidate must posses proven Servant Leader skills by providing support to the Team using a servant leadership style and leading by example. This person should personify Scrum and Agile.  Willing to dive into the trenches to drive the success of the Team.  The candidate must be able facilitate Agile/Scrum/Kanban rituals and ensure that Agile/Scrum/Kanban principles, and processes are adhered to.  Coach the team to increase their maturity level; team is responsible for increasing their maturity.      Ensure the Team’s action are always aligned with the project goals and are aligned with the acceptance criteria.  Shields the Team from interferences and promptly address anything that is impeding the team.  Additionally, as a senior scrum master, the candidate shall perform these additional duties:


  • Inspect, review and enforce Agile Standards among all Scrum teams
  • Work with Agile Reporting to:
  • Review reports
    • Create new reports
    • Run reports & review with Agile teams
    • Audit Agile teams for compliance with Agile Standards
  • Work with Agile teams on:
    • Business Value & Prioritization
    • Chunking of Work
    • Queuing Theory
    • Project Team Operation & Organization
  • Provide updates to senior leadership on progress for all Agile team levels
  • Align to existing Center of Excellence approach and develop potential enhancements for:
    • Sprint Planning
    • Daily Standup
    • Sprint Review
    • Sprint Retrospective
  • Integrate process with CTO and JPMC specific approval mechanisms
  • Include identification and education of Process Coaches



  • 3+ years of experience leading story refinement sessions to ensure that all requirements have been captured, correctly prioritized and acceptance criteria exists for all stories coming into a sprint
  • Experience conducting Sprint Planning sessions Ensure that stories meet the “definition of ready”
  • Experience reviewing and updating regression tests
  • Experience with JIRA and other corporate tools
  • Kanban experience is a plus
  • Excellent writing skills, clearly and concisely communicates.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office with emphasis on Excel
  • Scrum Master certification a plus
