KYC Operations is a firm-wide utility supporting all Lines of Business in the completion of requirements to satisfy the firm’s Know Your Customer (KYC) standards.  We partner with Global Financial Crimes Compliance, all JPMorgan Lines of Business and their KYC Officers and Client Owners and other utilities such as Client List Screening and Client Reference Data Operations to support and maintain the integrity of our Client KYC information.
The Global KYC Operations team, which is based in Hyderabad, India, is responsible for collecting and analysing client data, documents and publically available information on JPMorgan’s new and existing clients to comply with firm’s AML/KYC Policy and Procedures. The team is, further, responsible for ensuring that all existing clients of JPMorgan Chase are renewed in accordance with firm AML/KYC Policy and Procedures.  The team coordinates closely with LOBs to drive consistent application of the AML/KYC Policy and Procedures.
 
Job Description
 
The KYC Operations Training Manager will be responsible for training the Hyderabad KYC Operations teams.  The role requires in-depth knowledge of the end to end KYC life cycle and involves developing, delivering & assessing the effectiveness of all training activities as well as maintaining a department training roadmap and MIS.
 
Responsibilities include:
 
  • Understanding  KYC standards, guidelines, policies and procedures
  • Providing focused learning and development sessions for KYC operations team
  • Leading the development of  training roadmaps ( including roadmaps for new functions as required)
  • Liaising with senior managers to identify training priorities (including training needs assessment) and develop a framework for functional training
  • Delivery of Commercial Bank and JP Morgan standard induction training
  • Assisting with delivery of functional  training as required
  • Assisting with development of team training plans
  • Overseeing production, consistency & quality control of training materials
  • Monitoring effectiveness of training programmes
  • Maintaining training records & providing meaningful MIS &  insight
  • Developing  communication plans to target audiences
  • Facilitate pre and post training activities – logistics, tracking, material production, responding to questions related to training
  • Resolve individual issues with training assignments (e.g. completions not captured, correcting assignment errors)
 
 
 
Qualifications:
 
Relevant and proven training management experience from a financial services environment is essential.
  • Knowledge of wholesale banking products, services and processing of treasury/depository, investments and credit preferred
  • Knowledge of KYC end to end lifecycle
  • Proven record of successful development and delivery of training courses and materials
  • Knowledge & application of Training Central or similar automated tracking system (including registering courses, monitoring take-up etc.)
  • Excellent communication and personal skills with ability to clearly convey information and adjust style to intended audience
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Team player with strong interpersonal and influencing skills
  • High attention to detail
  • Enthusiasm with ‘can-do’ attitude essential
  • Knowledge of Compliance and Regulatory issues an advantage
