About Asia Sales & Marketing Business Management
Asia Sales & Marketing Business Management function sits within Finance & Business Management (F&BM) of the Corporate & Investment Bank. Business managers are responsible for supporting the business heads from an end-to-end perspective, helping business heads to drive the business agenda across financials, client coverage, risk & control (including regulatory), people and partnership. Business managers have significant exposure & interactions with senior management and are required to have a thorough understanding of the business & regulatory landscape, equipped with strategic, financial and project coordination skills.
The successful candidate will support the Asia Ex-Jap/Aus Sales business, with primary focus on fixed income products and exposure to cross-asset classes such as Equities, Commodities and Investor Services. He or she will develop an end-to-end understanding of the Sales business, assist to implement business initiatives and analyze client opportunities/gaps, as well as build partnership with different internal functional groups through engaging in various projects to optimize business efficiencies and regulatory controls and compliance.
Primary responsibilities include:
Perform data analysis to help business identify key gaps, trends and revenue opportunities
Prepare periodic and ad-hoc business presentations to facilitate management reviews and discussions
Implement strategic initiatives and deliver business priorities, partnering with different support groups
Understand business policies and regulatory guidelines and ensure compliance by the business
Assess key controls, identify and escalate control gaps which needs to be addressed
Develop an in-depth end-to-end knowledge of systems such as SalesOne, ICV, Client Atlas
Facilitate annual budget planning process and oversee investment/productivity initiatives across the business
