Our Team

The Portfolio Analysis Group within Asset and Wealth Management comprises a number of teams responsible for investment performance measurement of both client portfolios and strategies including, but not limited to, rates of return, contribution, attribution, risk analytics and investments reporting. In addition the Group is responsible for the construction and maintenance of performance composites. The Wealth Management Portfolio Analysis Group in Geneva provides performance analytics for client portfolios and strategies across the International Private Bank.

 

The Role

As an investment performance analyst you will be focused on ensuring accurate and timely delivery of performance returns and analytics for both internal and external clients.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring the accuracy of performance data through completion of validation controls and outlier investigations and timely resolution of identified data quality issues
  • Setup and maintain performance composites in accordance with pre-defined criteria
  • Production and validation of performance attribution, contribution and dispersion reporting
  • Provide accurate and timely responses to portfolio analysis queries
  • Reconcile and produce monthly performance reporting for Hedge Fund Advisory client portfolios
  • Contribute to the ongoing initiatives of the team with relevance to operational efficiencies, enhanced controls, process improvements, adherence to industry standards and performance insight

 

Requirements:

  • Degree or relevant qualification in Finance, Mathematics or similar field
  • Relevant experience in a performance analysis, operational or similar role
  • Knowledge of securities operations, trade processing and fund accounting 
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills, comfortable with formulae, performance calculation methodologies and risk analytics
  • Ability to interact and communicate effectively at all levels within an organization
  • Ability to problem solve and implement process improvements
  • Highly committed with ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
  • Highly organized and proactive
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel
  • Language - English required
