Key Responsibilities covered by these areas:
  • Provide leadership to Chengdu branch team and hold overall responsibility for Chengdu branch’s business development, risk control and team management
  • contribute and align business & account strategy together with GCB management, CEs and various products partners as a senior member in the team
  • can work independently to grow the local corporate business in Chengdu and Central/West China region, by continuously deepening existing clients franchise value for all business originated as well as acquiring prospects opportunities
  • Being a trusted and solution oriented advisor to clients and to maximize cross selling opportunities by bringing corporate coverage model always in sync with product and sales.
  • Being a first line of defense to exert strict risk & control practice and take ownership across full cycle client management with strong collaboration with respective team e.g CCM, WCOB
  • Maintain and build firm wide contact with product and coverage resources, credit, and all other relevant partners so as to always function an effective client management platform


  • Strong leadership and management skills. Ability to pull in and partner closely with various stakeholder e.g local regulators, business partners
  • Strong client relationship management with proven ability to build and develop client relationships, win new business, close transactions and develop networks, both internally and externally.
  • Must be able to demonstrate strong credit knowledge, playing a key role in credit DD on ongoing basis
  • Good understanding of the Banks’ product offering both flow products (derivatives, FX, commodities, transaction banking etc.) and event driven capital market transactions
  • Strong commercial judgment and good sense of market trend and client buying behavior
  • Strong understanding of macro and regulatory dynamics and its impact on business
  • Excellent communication skills with fluency in spoken and written English as a working language.
