Job Description:
As a member of our Software Engineering Group you will dive head-first into creating innovative solutions that advance businesses and careers. You’ll join an inspiring and curious team of technologists dedicated to improving the design, analytics, development, coding, testing and application programming that goes into creating high quality software and new products. You’ll be tasked with keeping the team and other key stakeholders up to speed on the progress of what’s being developed. Coming in with an understanding of the importance of end-to-end software development-such as Agile frameworks-is key. And best of all, you’ll be working with and sharing ideas, information and innovation with our global team of technologists from all over the world.
 
This Scrum Master - Digital Payments role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including:
  • BS/BA degree or equivalent experience
  • Advanced knowledge of application, data and infrastructure architecture disciplines
  • Understanding of architecture and design across all systems 
  • Working proficiency in developmental toolsets
  • Ability to collaborate with high-performing teams and individuals throughout the firm to accomplish common goals
  • 7+ years of experience in information technology with an emphasis on Technical Project delivery  
  • 5+ years experience leading a diverse team in an IT organization with hands-on experience in Agile software delivery methodology (Scrum/Kanban) .
  • 5+ years of hands on leadership of complex projects in environments across multiple logistical delivery sites  
  • Experience with financial products, Mobile technology, Digital Payments and/or Digital products data/metrics  
  • An understanding of social media trends and changes in the digital products/services space and knowledge of e-commerce business models in the financial industry  
  • Knowledge of optimization testing methodologies  
  • Expert in use of standard Agile tool  like JIRA/Rally
  • Understanding of software skills such as business analysis, development, maintenance and software improvement
  • We are seeking high energy, autonomous, motivated leaders to assume the role of Scrum Master to act as the primary liaison across technology disciplines in driving day-to-day project delivery with a particular focus on high quality, efficient delivery.
  • The Digital IT team is responsible for setting and executing strategies that align with business objectives and drive innovation across Chase Online and Mobile, helping to establish the best Digital banking customer experience in the industry. 
  • Within this fast-paced, high-talent IT organization, Emerging Payments Program Office is the primary point of contact for Digital Payments projects.
