Our portfolio includes Chase-branded credit cards - Sapphire, Freedom, Ink and Slate as well as co-branded credit cards offered in partnership with well-known brands and organizations, including AARP, Amazon, Disney, Marriott, Southwest Airlines, United Airlines, and many others in the United States and Canada.


We are seeking a Marketing Analytics Manager (VP) to join the Strategic Insights team within the Chase Card Services line of business.


Our business is based on a strong culture of highly-informed decision-making. As such, the successful candidate will be one who is able to scan across a large ecosystem of data, research, and other consumer insights, in order to develop and influence critical initiatives.


Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze: Using a combination of internal big data and external market research, identity key customer segments and behavioral /life event triggers that ultimately relate to customer lifetime profitability. A strong analytical ability and working knowledge of statistical packages/databases will be crucial for this part of the role.
  • Strategize: Based on this analysis, come up with targeting and messaging strategies related to showing the optimal offer/content/message at the optimal time.
  • Productionalize: Working with cross-functional teams, develop plans to iteratively test and then productionalize the key targeting and messaging strategies.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree required. Master’s degree in a STEM field strongly preferred
  • Required work experience: 7-10 years relevant experience in analytical and/or data-driven strategic marketing role(s)
  • Quantitative/technical skills: Strong analytical ability (including a strong understanding of statistical significance and similar concepts, as well as the ability to interpret large amounts of data); strong knowledge of statistical packages/databases (SAS, SQL) and/or strong modeling/machine learning knowledge (e.g., random forests, clustering, gradient descent, neural networks)
  • Ideal candidate traits: Quantitatively skilled, entrepreneurial, investigative, enthusiastic, collaborative; must excel at operating in a high-paced, rapidly-changing environment with optimism and a can-do attitude
