Job Description:
The Asset Management Business Intelligence & Client Analytics team uses data to optimize distribution and marketing strategies for the $1TN AUM Asset Management business. The team oversees the entire data lifecycle, from acquisition to analytics to delivery of increased ROI and sales growth.
As part of this broader group, the Channel Intelligence team’s mission is to shape distribution strategies through data-driven insights, and to embed these analytical processes into the organization’s decision-making framework. The team works closely with distribution stakeholders – management and salespersons – to drive these strategies and foster change management.
We are looking for a multi-talented, high-energy individual that will help create, coordinate and execute on AM distribution’s strategic priorities across the Analytics, Sales, Technology and CRM divisions. Our ideal candidate would have:
  1. Previous sales experience (internal or field/wholesaler)
  2. Familiarity and comfort with CRM systems (preferably SalesForce)
  3. Experience and affinity for working with large data sets
  4. Strong project management/delivery skills (Scrum master, familiarity with Agile methods highly preferred)

The responsibilities of this role will be broken down into three main components:
Data Management
  • Working with large data sets in SQL database
  • Managing data hygiene and quality checks
  • Ability to understand how to structure and maintain a data model
  • Collaborating with technology partners to incorporate third party data into internal data model, productionalize data exchange
  • Ability to navigate SalesForce CRM and identify areas for optimization
Project Management
  • Apply disciplined and well-documented approach to project planning (Scrum, Jira, etc.)
  • Ability to plan and execute on complex and multi-dimensional projects, particularly as they pertain to distribution strategies
  • Lead stakeholder and project manager of key business initiatives, across sales, technology & CRM
  • Working and innovating with third party vendors on data and analytical enhancements
  • Ability to negotiate pricing / having tough conversations with third party vendors
Adoption Management
  • Interpret results of analyses to sales professionals in efficient and effective way
  • Performing demand analysis, gathering use cases and user requirements from salespersons, defining MVP
  • Provide solutions to overcome existing inefficiencies or cost prohibitive processes
  • Determine, identify and collect appropriate metrics to measure the impact and ROI of the specific program/project on the business
  • Work closely with sales managers and salespersons to educate and cross-train on best practices and data adoption
Essential Competencies
  • Qualifications in Project Management, Data Management
  • 3 - 7 years managing data projects and processes
  • Experience with analytics, sales, CRM platforms
  • Financial services experience, especially asset management
  • Comfort in working with large sets of data and applying analytical lens to identify key organizational insights
  • Very high proficiency with MS Project, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and/or other common project and business communication software
  • Familiarity with SQL or other programming languages (Python)
  • Strong time management and organizational skills to manage multiple priorities
  • Strong presentation, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to adapt to shifting priorities and timelines by utilizing problem-solving skills
  • Proactive attitude in managing stakeholder satisfaction to position and secure customer success
  • CRM (preferably SalesForce) familiarity
