Global Technology Infrastructure (GTI) is the technology infrastructure organization for the firm, delivering a wide range of products and services, and partnering with all lines of business to provide high quality service delivery, exceptional project execution and financially disciplined approaches and processes in the most cost effective manner. The objective of GTI is to balance both business alignment and the centralized delivery of core products and services across then firm. GTI is designed to address the unique infrastructure needs of specific lines of business and the demand to leverage economies of scale across the firm.
 
This Policy & Standards Officer will work with the GTI Policy & Standards Governance Manager to manage GTI Policies, Standards and Control Procedures.  A key aspect of this role involves networking throughout GTI service areas to facilitate impact assessment of new controls/regulations in order to ensure resulting operational changes are understood and communicated to the organization.  Additionally, the role will be responsible for driving increased alignment of our standards framework to our assessment frameworks and simplification of the overall standards landscape, responding to informational requests on policies and standards and development of new standards when needed.  Lastly the Policy and Standards Officer will be responsible for implementing lifecycle management processes for all IT policies and standards owned by GTI to ensure they are maintained, reviewed and updated on a periodic basis.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Development and implementation of standards, guidance and best practices for all GTI Policies/Standards
  • Impact Assessment of standards/laws/regulations to ensure GTI understands operational impacts
  • Streamline/simplify GTI standards to reduce ambiguity and ensure they are focused on the right things
  • Define roles and responsibilities for standard SMEs and ensure compliance
  • Ensure all GTI owned policies and standards are maintained and communicated appropriately
  • 7-10+ years of experience in Technology Infrastructure Management and/or Risk and Controls preferably for financial institution
  • Strong knowledge of PCI regulations
  • Knowledge of IT Standards and Controls and/or experience leading governance process, standards or controls
  • Track record on developing and implementing business/process management activities and controls
  • Demonstrated experience working with implementing a cross-functional programs is a plus
  • Track record of driving and implementing continuous improvement for business functions
  • Project Management/Release Management
