The Market Data Services organization at JPMorgan is a global team responsible for the design, deployment and support of the technology infrastructure that provides for the consumption of information at JPMorgan that comes from external and internal sources, as well as contributing information to outside the company. Core Trading Services is looking for a Project manager with business analyst skills who can understand data flows, automate information capture, manage transformation processes, and oversee reporting and visualization. This individual will manage the application ownership responsibilities for a number of third party trading venues on behalf of the Business.
Key Responsibilities:
Third party trading applications
  • Collaborate with business, operations and technology owners to perform application risk assessments and communicate impacts and manage risk of the portfolio
  • Demonstrate the ability to assess control requirements to help define and prioritize control uplift programs
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for all of technology controls(Access Management, Application management and  Resiliency Management) aspects for the third party application portfolio
  • Accountable for completing the control requirements for the 3rd party trading applications
  • Develop and maintain strong business and technology relationships, becoming a trusted partner, as well as building relationships with Corporate functions such as Audit, Corporate IT Risk and Global Technology Infrastructure.
Core Trading Service Project Management
  • Support the development and rollout of large cross LOB initiatives, programs and projects, including stakeholder management, operating model development, communication, producing EMR packs, determining projects plans, delivery and risk /dependency management.
  • Support in defining project scope, stakeholders, risks and issues
  • Support in drafting project plan, ensure business requirements are put in place as required
  • Build and maintain working relationships with stakeholders in the different businesses our team supports (e.g., Cyber, TCO, Operate) and functions
  • Partner with stakeholders, providing guidance and analysis, helping identify, resolve and escalate issues/risks/dependencies and facilitating communication across teams
  • Coordinate working group meetings, setting the agenda, preparing meeting materials, documenting minutes and ensuring clear ownership and progress of action items
  • Maintain appropriate project management tools and process, according to our team’s minimum controls and process library.
  • Strong demonstrated knowledge of IT and application risk and controls management gained as a practitioner
  • Experience in application security controls (design and/or execution) desired
  • Experience in financial regulatory, internal and external engagements on technology controls
  • Knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle stages, control requirements and compliance assessment
  • Experience in SoX and/or SSAE16 control processes
  • Stakeholder engagement skills, including ability to influence senior management
  • Ability and energy to design and drive change
  • Excellent negotiation and influencing skills
  • Strong decision making capability
  • Excellent communicator
  • Strong execution skills for overseeing enterprise-wide risk initiatives
  • Development experience preferred but not required
