Job Description:
The CCB Talent Development and Readiness team delivers high quality solutions for developing and retaining talent across the Consumer and Community Bank, which is comprised of the following lines of business:  Consumer Banking, Home Lending, Auto, Card, Merchant Services, Business Banking, Marketing, Communications, Technology, Operations, Digital and Controls.  The team partners with the HR executives and senior business leaders to deliver a strategic talent development agenda to drive business value through leadership development, building professional skills, overall capabilities and effectiveness. 
As part of this team, the Talent Development Manager will partner with Talent Development Leads, HRBPs and business leaders in their aligned client groups to implement and execute development solutions aimed at the delivery of professional development skills, horizontal and customized development programs, talent management, succession planning and readiness, promotion processes, performance management, diversity and inclusion, career development, and team/leader effectiveness. 
The individual will bring broad Human Resources and Learning & Development experience as well as consulting, facilitation, project management and analytical skills to deliver initiatives in support of talent development and readiness.
Key Responsibilities
  • Support the development of an end-to-end talent development agenda for aligned client groups through partnership with Development Lead, business leaders, HR Business Partners, Leadership Edge team, and other Corporate Learning organizations
  • Leverage talent data and to conduct needs analysis to identify gaps at the individual, team and organizational levels
  • Execute select development solutions for employees, managers/leaders, and teams by partnering across CCB and the firm (functions, lines of business, regions) to drive best practices, consistency, and measure impact
  • Support the data gathering, materials preparation, facilitation and follow-up action planning for talent and succession planning and the identification of high potentials deeper in the organization
  • Act as a subject matter expert aligned client groups on talent management, performance management, diversity and other key talent processes.
  • Manage a wide array of projects to develop and /or implement development programs and other projects/initiatives including the identification and timely execution of deliverables, communications strategy and implementation plan
  • Provide coaching in support of Leadership Edge leadership training and other development initiatives
  • Minimum of 5-8 years Learning & Development, Organizational Development and/or HR Business Partner experience in a fast paced corporate environment; financial services industry experience a plus
  • Executive presence and ability to influence across organizational levels and lines of business
  • Experienced project manager including managing large, complex projects with multiple stakeholders
  • Experience with client offsite facilitation and team building
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Advanced human resources data management and analysis skills (quantitative and qualitative), and ability to identify themes/trends
  • Advanced PowerPoint, Excel and Word – ability to build senior level presentations and materials
  • Able to work independently and multi-task in a dynamic environment, managing multiple deadlines and priorities – large capacity
  • Team-oriented, actively participating to foster a positive work environment with peers
  • Comfort with matrix management structure
  • Self-starter who is results-oriented and able to execute using existing resources and tools
  • B.A. degree in related field; advanced degree preferred or equivalent experience considered
  • Ability to travel as needed
