Description: The Global Fixed Income Cash businesses trade and structure a variety of products for a wide range of clients globally. JPMorgan is currently the market leader across these areas and has been a key driver behind the ongoing development of the marketplace over recent years. The continued pace of change means that Operations needs to continue to adapt to the changing business needs and provide innovative solutions to business problems and maintain a strong control framework.
The Global Fixed Income Cash Middle Office is primarily responsible for the execution risk transaction management to market and support multiple Bond Cash Security trading desks based primarily in London.
Key Responsibilities
  • Facilitate in the line the firm’s corporate and oversight control agenda. This involves the business risk and control assessments (RCSA), and control evaluation substantiations in FORCE annually.
  • Record Risk Events and control walkthroughs when the events happen.
  • Tracking, recording and closing Issue and Action Plan with assigned operation owners.
  • Manage weekly and monthly control updates to various MO and FO forums.
  • Performing GAP analysis for Policy and Operating Standards documents.
  • Ad-hoc administrative duties which generally include: Consecutive Leave monitoring, Systems access recertification, Data Quality (DQM), OLO Procedures, and Code of Conduct agendas.

Business and Subject Matter Knowledge
  • Interest in Cash and/or Derivatives would be desirable
  • An interest or appreciation in Fixed Income and SPG is a plus
  • Strong financial markets product knowledge and understanding of the transaction life cycle in one or more of the key business areas above
  • Knowledge in operational risk, controls, MIS, and relevant regulations.
