Position will be a member of Data Management Production Support team under Production Management Organization –Data Management organization is responsible for all production platforms supporting and operating the CCB Data Eco System for all CCB LOBs that includes managing the Integrated Consumer Data Warehouse (ICDW) including more than 1 PB Teradata database, more than 40K ETL jobs, BI reporting and Hadoop.

 

Responsibilities:

As a Tableau Software Engineer on the Data Warehouse team, you will be responsible for developing dashboards and reports for Data Eco System production support function.  The role also involves engaging and partnering with AD teams, and various platform owners like TD, ETL, BI, etc. and also interfacing with management on Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and remediation actions.

 

The responsibility will included but limited to following functions:

  • Analyze and acquire experiences into large data sets, create visually compelling and actionable interactive reports and dashboards
  • Installation setup, user management and other administration of Tableau Server
  • Professional expert in Data Visualization development using tableau to creating complex, intuitive and dashboards
  • Implemented Data blending on multiple data sources and generated interactive dashboards
  • Use performance monitoring tool of tableau desktop to analyze the performance of data heavy dashboards and implemented the best practices to improve the end user experience
  • Create action filters, parameters and calculated sets for preparing dashboards and worksheets
  • Bachelor's/ in Computer Science, related field or Equivalent work experience
  • Over 5 years of working experience in data visualization, report design & dashboard development using BI technology and Decision Support Systems
  • Professional experience on Tableau Desktop and Server. (Tableau versions 7 / 8 / 9/10.x)

  • Good experience in Software Development Life Cycle like project documentation design, testing and production development

  • Proficient in design and development of various dashboards, reports utilizing Tableau Visualizations like Dual Axis, Bar Graphs, Scatter Plots, Pie-Charts, Heat Maps, Bubble Charts, Tree Maps, Funnel Charts, Box Plots, Waterfall Charts, Geographic Visualization and other making use of actions, other local and global filters according to the end user requirement
