The hands-on Project Manager/Business Analyst for the Traditional Credit Products team within Core Credit Risk Technology will partner with Technology, Credit Risk, Middle Office, Risk Reporting and Operations to manage sourcing and consumption of loan position data by the strategic Credit Risk applications. The Core Credit Risk platform has over 5,000 users in JPMorgan’s Wholesale Bank, including the Investment Bank, TSS, Asset Management and the Commercial Bank. 


The core responsibilities for the role include:

  • Manage Loan Feeds Consumption Program

o   Represent Credit Risk Technology in to define and negotiate BAU testing op model with Finance and Risk Operations, FinRisk Warehouse Technology, and Data Acquisition team

o   Identify and implement additional process efficiencies; clearly establishing responsibilities across Tech, Ops and Credit

o   Perform and coordinate testing of Loan, Letter of Credit and Secondary Loan Trading feed migrations, BAU enhancements and new consumption

o   Understand and engage stakeholders for impact of data attribute changes on Credit Risk Technology processing as well as downstream tech and business consumers

o   Represent Credit Risk Technology and Credit stakeholders in various project working groups

o   Gain familiarity with Credit Risk Technology testing flows and data flow processes in order to define/facilitate testing requirements

  • Project Management of Credit Risk Technology projects related to TCP asset class

o   Manage the end to end project plan and work closely with the business analysts, Risk Technology component teams and upstream systems to ensure a successful delivery.

o   Ensure all business requirements are documented at high & low levels of granularity and signed off by appropriate stakeholders.

o   Track milestones, and report project status

o   Work with component teams to design the architecture and functionality to meet the business requirements. Ensure the proposed integration path does not jeopardize the integrity of the overall Credit Risk architecture.

Key Qualifications:
  • 7-10 years in Business Analysis and Project Management
  • 5+ years of technology experience, preferably in financial services
  • Ability to facilitate and run meetings with a variety of stakeholders (technologists, business users, etc)
  • Ability to query data using PL/SQL
  • Team player who openly shares knowledge for the benefit of the entire team
  • Understanding of Credit Risk and Loan products is a plus
  • Strong data analysis, problem solving and critical thinking skills
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Solid interpersonal and negotiating skills to work with business users, technology and senior management across organizational lines.
  • Experience writing and reviewing business requirements documents within the Financial Services industry
