Consumer and Small Business offers a broad array of credit cards to meet the needs of individual consumers and small businesses. Our portfolio includes Chase-branded credit cards - Sapphire, Freedom, Ink and Slate as well as co-branded credit cards offered in partnership with well-known brands and organizations, including AARP, Amazon, Disney, Marriott, Southwest Airlines, United Airlines, and many others in the United States and Canada.
The Chase Ink marketing team is focused on growing small business spend market share among the ~28MM small businesses. As we transform our marketing strategy to capitalize on the opportunity, we are embarking on a journey to enhance our customer segmentation and targeting across campaigns.
This dynamic position on the Chase Ink marketing team will be focused on developing the existing Customer segmentation strategy, the prospect segmentation strategy, and optimizing our targeting across all marketing initiatives to improve overall performance. Specific goals and measures of success will include improving the efficiency and effectiveness of our advertising, acquisition, and existing Customer campaigns; developing ‘Best Customer’ strategies; and partnering across the team to evolve our marketing strategy.
Description of Responsibilities:
- Develop existing customer and prospect segmentation strategy leveraging internal and external resources
- Enhance our targeting strategies across all marketing initiatives
- Interrogate external data sources to identify opportunities to improve marketing performance
- Identify opportunities to expand into new areas, generate awareness, acquire customers, and engage prospects
- Effectively partner with internal key stakeholders across the organization to drive marketing improvements and deliver business results
The team seeks a self-motivated person who has the combination of analytical, relationship and leadership skills to effectively lead our segmentation and targeting across all aspects of our marketing strategy. Incumbent must demonstrate the ability to understand internal and external data sources, and effectively translate data into insights to optimize our marketing strategies.
7+ years relevant experience within marketing, finance, or risk analysis; credit card specific experience is preferred
Demonstrated cross-functional leadership, partnership, influencing, and creative problem solving skills
Results focused self-starter effective at prioritizing and managing multiple initiatives concurrently
Strong interpersonal effectiveness with ability to collaborate and work well with all levels of management and across organizational boundaries
Demonstrated ability to collaboratively lead and influence cross-functional teams
Ability to think analytically, manage complexity, and deal with ambiguity
Exceptional presentation skills with an aptitude to bring disparate ideas together in a meaningful way
Experience with programming skills to synthesize large volumes of data. SAS and SQL preferred.
Proven ability to consistently deliver meaningful results
Bachelor’s degree required
